Murderers Creek (or Murderer's Creek) is a creek in upstate New York, United States, that flows into the Hudson River in Greene County, New York, just north of the town of Athens. It should not be confused with Moodna Creek, which is in Orange County and is also sometimes called "Murderer's Creek".

It is surrounded by a 2,200 acre residential community, also known as “Sleepy Hollow Lake”, which is a Planned Unit Development (PUD) that self-governs residential land use, maintains common roads, parks, beaches, and other recreational facilities, operates most of the development’s sewer and water services, and provides community security and code enforcement. The community is within the viewshed of the Taconic Mountains to the east and the Catskill Mountains to the west. The district contains 267 contributing buildings, including the Jan Van Loon House built in 1706. It includes residential, commercial, and ecclesiastical structures built primarily during the 19th century in a variety of popular architectural styles.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Owned by Lev Glazman and Alina Roytberg, it opened on August 6, 2020.The hotel, which has eleven bedrooms, occupies three historic buildings: a 19th-century carriage house, a Georgian mansion and a Greek Revival building. Its library featured several hundreds of books from the Strand Book Store in New York City. Its four suites are named the Architect, the Artist, the Writer and the Gardener.The hotel, which is 14,000 square feet (1,300 m2), has three dining areas: a café, a lounge and a restaurant (located in a conservatory).
