Dalane is a neighbourhood in the city of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Grim and in the district of Grim. The neighborhood lies along the Norwegian National Road 9, north of Tinnheia and Krossen and south of Strai.

Høietun is a neighbourhood in the north of Kristiansand, Norway. It is a part of the Grim borough at Mosby. The neighborhood is a part of the Vennesla suburbs.

Aukland or Augland is a village in the Torridal valley in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder county, Norway. The village is located on the western bank of the river Otra between the villages of Strai and Mosby. In 1978, the Torridal Church was built in Aukland. The Norwegian National Road 9 runs north-south through Aukland.

Mosby is a village and district in the Torridal valley in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village lies along the river Otra, between the villages of Aukland and Strai (to the south) and the municipal border with Vennesla to the north. Mosby's population in 1999 was 1,950, but since 2001 it has been considered to be a part of the urban area of Vennesla so separate village statistics are not tracked.

Norwegian County Road 405 (Fv405) is a Norwegian county road which runs between from the village of Engesland in Birkenes municipality in Agder county in the north to the junction with the Norwegian National Road 9 in the village of Mosby in Kristiansand municipality in the south. The road is 54.56 kilometres (33.90 mi) long. Prior to a 2010 government reform, the road was classified as a Norwegian national road.

Nodelandsheia is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located in the hills a short distance to the northeast of the former municipal centre of Nodeland in former Songdalen municipality. The village is primarily residential, with most residents working in the nearby urban areas of Kristiansand and Søgne. The 0.5-square-kilometre (120-acre) village has a population (2015) of 1,330 which gives the village a population density of 2,660 inhabitants per square kilometre (6,900/sq mi).

Torridal is a V-shaped valley in Agder county, Norway. The valley passes through portions of the municipalities of Kristiansand and Vennesla in an area that was historically a part of the former Oddernes municipality. Today it includes areas north of the city center of Kristiansand on both riverbanks of the river Otra. The local name Torridalselva (meaning Torridal river) is commonly used for the river's lower course from Mosby to the sea. The valley includes the areas of Sødal, Skråstad, Lian, Hagen, and Glattetre on the east side of the river and Strai, Hommeren, Aukland, Mosby, and Høie on the west side. The districts of Espestøl, Hemmes, Mestad, Aurebekk, Rypestøl, and Kulia are also part of the valley, although they don't lie directly along the river. The Mosby and Strai areas are fairly densely populated, and the Torridal Church lies between those two villages. The Torridal sporting venue has facilities outdoors and indoors in Torridalshallen. Norwegian National Road 9 (Setesdalsveien) and the Sørlandet Line both run along the west side of the river Otra, through the Torridal valley. Norwegian County Road 1 ("Sødalssida") runs along the east bank of Otra.

Torridal Church (Norwegian: Torridal kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Kristiansand Municipality in Agder county, Norway. It is located in the village of Aukland, just south of the village of Mosby and just north of the village of Strai, on the west shore of the river Otra. It is the church for the Torridal parish which is part of the Kristiansand domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Agder og Telemark. The white church was built out of expanded clay aggregate in a rectangular design in 1978 using plans drawn up by the architect Alv Erikstad. The church seats about 215 people. The altarpiece is a tapestry by Else Marie Jakobsen from 1988. It represents the risen Christ. The church organ with 14 voices was created by H. Brink Hansen orgelfabrikk in 2002. The church bell was created by Olsen Nauen Bell Foundry in 2006 and has the inscription which means "The Lord is here calling for you".In 2011, the church was enlarged with space for a new church hall as well as offices.

Strai is a village and a district in the municipality of Kristiansand in Agder, Norway. It is located in the borough of Grim. Its population (2014) is about 1,000. The district of Mosby lies to the north, the districts of Lund, Kvadraturen, and Grim are located to the south, and the Songdalen area lies to the west. The village of Strai lies on the west shore of the river Otra in the Torridal valley. The village of Mosby lies just to the north along the Norwegian National Road 9. Torridal Church is located just on the northern edge of Strai.

Homstean or Slettebrotane is a village in Vennesla municipality in Agder county, Norway. The village is located along the Norwegian National Road 9, about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) south of the village of Skarpengland, just about 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) north of the border with Kristiansand municipality. The 0.35-square-kilometre (86-acre) village has a population (2016) of 345 which gives the village a population density of 986 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,550/sq mi).The small farming village of Mushom lies about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) to the west. That area has had some notable archaeological finds over the year including a very old ski that is now in a museum in Oslo.

Nodeland Station (Norwegian: Nodeland stasjon) is a railway station of the Sørlandet Line situated in the village of Nodeland in Kristiansand municipality in Agder county, Norway. Located 375.29 kilometers (233.19 mi) from Oslo Central Station, it is served by long-distance trains operated by Go-Ahead Norge. In addition to intercity services to Oslo and Stavanger, the eight daily trains in each direction serve as a commuter link to Kristiansand, located nine minutes away. The station features two side platforms and a station building. The station was opened on 17 December 1943 as part of the segment of the Sørlandet Line between Kristiasand and Sira. The line past the station was electrified from 1946 and the station automated in 1969. The following year the station became unmanned. A major upgrade in 2012 saw the lengthening of the passing loop to 718 meters (2,356 ft), new platforms and increased parking. Nodeland had 10,300 passengers in 2008.

Nodeland is a village in Kristiansand municipality in Agder County, Norway. Nodeland was the administrative centre of former Songdalen municipality which was merged into Kristiansand in 2020. The village is located about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of the city center of Kristiansand. The village is the main urban area of Songdalen area, surrounded by several smaller villages such as Nodelandsheia, Brennåsen, Volleberg, and Hortemo.Nodeland Station is a railway station along the Sørlandet Line. All trains between Kristiansand and Stavanger (except overnight trains) stop in the village at this station. Greipstad Church is also located in Nodeland and it was the main church for the municipality. The 1.26-square-kilometre (310-acre) village has a population (2015) of 2,208 which gives the village a population density of 1,752 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,540/sq mi).
