Driedorp

Kruishaar is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Nijkerk, and lies about 11 km east of Amersfoort. A small part belongs to the municipality of Putten.It was first mentioned in 1560 as Cruyshaer, and means "sandy ridge with a cross sign". The postal authorities have placed it under Nijkerk. There are no place name signs. There are about 70 living vans in Kruishaar.

Slichtenhorst is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Nijkerk, and lies about 8 km east of Amersfoort.It was first mentioned in 1434 as Slichterhorst, and means "flat height with growth". The postal authorities have placed it under Nijkerk. The land around Slichtenhorst used to be owned by the Abdinckhof monastery in Paderborn. In 1803, during the French occupation, the land was confiscated by the State and sold to Dutch farmers. In 1840, Slichtenhorst was home to 423 people.

Appel (literally "apple") is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality Nijkerk, about 6 km southeast of the city, on the border with the municipality of Barneveld.It was first mentioned in 1146 as Appele. The etymology is unclear and may not be related to apples. The postal authorities have placed it under Nijkerk. In 1840, it was home to 318 people. The grist mill De Hoop was constructed in 1888 and was restored in 2004. In 2007, remains of a wooden castle were found near Appel which dated from around 1100. The hamlet consists of about 60 houses.

Nijkerk is a railway station located in Nijkerk, Netherlands. The station was opened on 20 August 1863 and is located on the Utrecht–Kampen railway (Centraalspoorweg). The services are operated by Nederlandse Spoorwegen. From 1903, Nijkerk was also the northern terminus of the Nijkerk–Ede-Wageningen railway. The section between Nijkerk and Barneveld was closed and demolished in 1937.

't Woud was founded by farmers at the beginning of the 20th century. After they had made the soil ready for farming they expanded their operations for decades. Nowadays only a few large farming companies are left. The other inhabitants are merely people who love living on the countryside. It was first mentioned between 1830 and 1855 as 't Woud, and means wood. The postal authorities have placed it under Nijkerk. There are no place name signs, and the hamlet consists of about 30 houses.

The Putten raid (Dutch: Razzia van Putten) was a civilian raid conducted by Nazi Germany in occupied Netherlands during the Second World War. On 1 October 1944, a total of 602 men – almost the entire male population of the village – were taken from Putten, in the central Netherlands, and deported to various concentration camps inside Germany. Only 48 returned at the end of the war. The raid was carried out as a reprisal for a Dutch resistance attack on a vehicle carrying personnel from the Wehrmacht.

It was first mentioned in 1994 as Holkerveen, and means bog near Holk. The hamlet started in the 19th century as a peat colony. The postal authorities have placed it under Nijkerkerveen.
