Birra Menabrea is an Italian brewing company located in Biella, Piedmont. Under this label - distributed since the early nineties by Birra Forst, but owned by the Thedy family (heir of the founders of the company) - around 100 thousand hectolitres of beer are produced annually, part of which for export to twenty countries.

The Biella funicular (Italian: Funicolare di Biella) is a funicular railway in the city of Biella, Piedmont, Italy. It connects a lower station on Via Curiel, in the city's Biella Piano quarter, with an upper station on Via Avogadro in the city's medieval Biella Piazzo quarter.The funicular first opened in December 1885, and was initially operated by water counterbalance. It was converted to electric operation in 1899, and was rebuilt, with new cars, in 1975. The line reopened in July 2018 after a further closure for maintenance and upgrade costing 1.8 million euros. The upgrade involved the provision of new cars, the renovation of both stations, and the replacement of track and cables.The line has two cars, both with a capacity of 18 passengers, and operates continuously from 07:00 to 24:00, and later on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Biella Synagogue is an early 17th-century synagogue in Biella, Italy. The synagogue occupies the top floor of a medieval house at Vicolo del Bellone 3, in the heart of the historic Jewish quarter. It is a modestly sized, rectangular room with baroque decoration, a central bimah and an ornate, seventeenth century, baroque Torah Ark.The synagogue possesses the oldest known Torah scroll still in use which dates to the 13th century.In 2009 a 350,000 euro restoration, overseen by the Jewish community in Vercelli and funded from the Piedmont Region and by donations from a number of sources, including a local bank, completed the repair of the roof, and restoration of the Torah Ark, women's gallery and interior. Further restoration work is planned.The Biella Synagogue is one of about sixteen that survive in Piedmont, including the Synagogue of Casale Monferrato and the Vercelli Synagogue.

Biella (Italian: [ˈbjɛlla] (listen); Piedmontese: Biela; Latin: Bugella) is a city and comune (municipality) in the northern Italian region of Piedmont, the capital of the province of the same name, with a population of 44,324 as of 31 December 2017. It is located about 80 kilometres (50 miles) northeast of Turin and at about the same distance west-northwest of Milan. It lies in the foothills of the Alps, in the Bo mountain range near Mt. Mucrone and Camino, an area rich in springs and lakes fed by the glaciers, the heart of the Biellese Alps irrigated by several mountain streams: the Elvo to the west of the town, the Oropa river and the Cervo to the east. Nearby natural and notable tourist attractions include the Zegna Viewpoint, the Bielmonte Ski Resort, Burcina Natural Reserve, and the moors to the south of town. The Diocese of Biella (Latin: Dioecesis Bugellensis) is a Roman Catholic ecclesiastical territory in northern Italy, in the Piedmont region. The diocese was established in 1772. It is a suffragan of the Archdiocese of Vercelli. Biella is a city in Piedmont, 42km (25 mi) northwest of Vercelli.

Biella San Paolo railway station is the main station serving the town and comune of Biella, in the Piedmont region, northwestern Italy. It is the junction of the Biella–Novara and Santhià–Biella railways. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. A second station, the Biella Chiavazza railway station, is in the district of Chiavazza, a short distance along the line towards Novara.

BiellaForum is an indoor sporting arena located in Biella, Italy. The capacity of the arena is for 5,707 people and was opened in February 2009. It is currently home only of the Pallacanestro Biella basketball team.
