As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,678 and an area of 3.4 square kilometres (1.3 sq mi).Tollegno borders the following municipalities: Andorno Micca, Biella, Pralungo, Sagliano Micca.

The Biella funicular (Italian: Funicolare di Biella) is a funicular railway in the city of Biella, Piedmont, Italy. It connects a lower station on Via Curiel, in the city's Biella Piano quarter, with an upper station on Via Avogadro in the city's medieval Biella Piazzo quarter.The funicular first opened in December 1885, and was initially operated by water counterbalance. It was converted to electric operation in 1899, and was rebuilt, with new cars, in 1975. The line reopened in July 2018 after a further closure for maintenance and upgrade costing 1.8 million euros. The upgrade involved the provision of new cars, the renovation of both stations, and the replacement of track and cables.The line has two cars, both with a capacity of 18 passengers, and operates continuously from 07:00 to 24:00, and later on Fridays and Saturdays.

The Biella Synagogue is an early 17th-century synagogue in Biella, Italy. The synagogue occupies the top floor of a medieval house at Vicolo del Bellone 3, in the heart of the historic Jewish quarter. It is a modestly sized, rectangular room with baroque decoration, a central bimah and an ornate, seventeenth century, baroque Torah Ark.The synagogue possesses the oldest known Torah scroll still in use which dates to the 13th century.In 2009 a 350,000 euro restoration, overseen by the Jewish community in Vercelli and funded from the Piedmont Region and by donations from a number of sources, including a local bank, completed the repair of the roof, and restoration of the Torah Ark, women's gallery and interior. Further restoration work is planned.The Biella Synagogue is one of about sixteen that survive in Piedmont, including the Synagogue of Casale Monferrato and the Vercelli Synagogue.

It is located about 80 kilometres (50 miles) northeast of Turin and at about the same distance west-northwest of Milan. It lies in the foothills of the Alps, in the Bo mountain range near Mt. Biella is an important wool processing and textile centre. There is a small airport in the nearby comune of Cerrione.

Selve Marcone was a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 70 kilometres (43 mi) northeast of Turin and about 4 kilometres (2 mi) northwest of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 100 and an area of 2.2 square kilometres (0.85 sq mi). From 1 January 2017 Selve Marcone was absorbed by the neighbouring municipality of Pettinengo.As an autonomous commune Selve Marcone bordered the following municipalities: Andorno Micca, Callabiana, Pettinengo, Piedicavallo, Rassa, Tavigliano.
