Bedell Crossing is an unincorporated village in Kittery, York County, Maine, United States.

Brave Boat Harbor Farm is a historic gentleman's farm at 110 Raynes Neck Road on the coast of York, Maine, United States. Developed in the early 1950s, it consists of a designed horticultural landscape with five structures, the most significant being a Colonial Revival house built at that time. The property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

Kittery Point is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Kittery, York County, Maine, United States. First settled in 1623, Kittery Point traces its history to the first seafarers who colonized the shore of what became Massachusetts Bay Colony and later the State of Maine. Located beside the Atlantic Ocean, it is home to Fort McClary State Historic Site, and Fort Foster Park on Gerrish Island. Cutts Island is home to Seapoint Beach and the Brave Boat Harbor Division of the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Kittery Point is part of the Portland–South Portland–Biddeford, Maine Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 1,012 at the 2010 census.

The Bray House is a historic house at 100 Pepperell Road in Kittery Point, Maine, United States. It is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the state. Long thought to be a 17th-century structure, the architectural evidence indicates the home was probably not built before 1720. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The William Pepperrell House is a historic house at 94 Pepperrell Road (Maine State Route 103) in Kittery Point, Maine. Built about 1682 and later enlarged and restyled, it was at the time of its construction the grandest house in what is now the state of Maine. It is notable as the birthplace and home of Sir William Pepperrell (1696-1759) a leading businessman of the period whose greatest claim to fame was leading the 1745 Siege of Louisbourg during King George's War. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The John Hancock Warehouse is a historic warehouse at 136 Lindsay Street in York, Maine. Built in the 18th century, the small warehouse is notable for its association with Massachusetts politician John Hancock. It is the oldest known commercial structure in the state of Maine. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on December 2, 1969. It is now a museum property owned by Museums of Old York.

The Isabella Breckinridge House also known as River House, and formerly the Breckinridge Public Affairs Center of Bowdoin College, is a historic house at 201 US Route 1 in York, Maine, United States. The main house, designed by architect Guy Lowell, is a 23-room mansion which was built in 1905 for Mary Goodrich, widow of tire magnate B. F. Goodrich. It is located on a 26-acre (11 ha) estate facing the York River. The property was given to Bowdoin College by Mary Marvin Breckinridge Patterson in 1974, and the college operated it as a conference center until it was sold into private hands in 2004. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. It is one of Maine's most architecturally distinctive and unusual early 20th-century summer estate houses.

Fort McClary is a former defensive fortification of the United States military located along the southern coast at Kittery Point, Maine at the mouth of the Piscataqua River. It was used throughout the 19th century to protect approaches to the harbor of Portsmouth, New Hampshire and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery. The property and its surviving structures are now owned and operated by the State of Maine as Fort McClary State Historic Site, including a blockhouse dating from 1844.

Fort Foster, now part of Fort Foster Park, is a historic fort active 1901-1946 on the southwest tip of Gerrish Island in the Kittery Point area of Kittery, Maine. The park includes beaches and trails. Battery Bohlen and Battery Chapin were the major parts of the fort.

The York Historic District encompasses the historic village center of York, Maine, one of the oldest communities in the state. The expansive 1,700-acre (690 ha) district includes the oldest church in Maine, built by its oldest congregation in 1747, and the Old York Gaol, a National Historic Landmark that is one of the oldest public buildings in the United States. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Sayward-Wheeler House is an American historic house museum in York Harbor, Maine. It was built about 1718, and overlooks the York River. it was the home of Jonathan Sayward, a local merchant and civic leader, who remodeled and furnished the house in the 1760s according to his own conservative taste.,Sayward participated in the 1745 siege of the French fortress at Louisbourg, Nova Scotia, served in the Massachusetts legislature, and, despite outspoken Tory views, retained the respect of his neighbors during the American Revolution.After his death, his heirs made few changes to the house. In part, this was due to the depressed economy following Thomas Jefferson's trade embargo of 1807, but the family's reverence for its founding patriarch was an equally important factor in preservation. As early as the 1860s, Sayward's descendants opened the house to visitors to show how their forebears had lived in bygone colonial days. In the early 20th century, the house was refurbished for use as a summer residence, with new wallpaper and white-painted woodwork, but the original furnishings and family portraits remained in place. Today, the house is owned and operated as a historic house museum by Historic New England.

The William Dean Howells House is a historic house at 36 Pepperrell Road in Kittery Point, Maine. Built c. 1870, this house was for many years the summer residence of writer and editor William Dean Howells, best known as editor of Atlantic Monthly magazine. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 (where the listing misspells the name "Howels").
