Sion railway station (French: Gare de Sion, German: Bahnhof Sitten) is a railway station in the municipality of Sion, in the Swiss canton of Valais. It is an intermediate stop on the Simplon line and is served by local and long-distance trains.

The clock was first installed in 1667–68; the present mechanism dates from 1902.The clock has five dials: on the two lateral sides of the clock tower, there are 12-hour dials. The other end of this hand, with a star, indicates the constellation which passes through the meridian at Sion in the middle of the night.The two smaller dials underneath the principal dial indicate the day of the week, represented by an illustration of its classical deity, and the lunar phase by means of a rotating moon ball.

Le Petit Chasseur is the name of a megalithic site in Sion, Valais, Switzerland. Discovered in 1961, it consists of three dolmen, dated to between 2900 and 2200 BC. It is associated with the Saône-Rhône culture, part of the local late Chalcolithic phase (éolithique final valasian). The younger parts of the site are associated with the Bell Beaker horizon, including a cemetery with the remains of about 90 individuals (Dolmen M XII).
