Stavanger Ishall

DNB Arena is an indoor ice hockey rink in Stavanger, Norway, and home to the Fjordkraftligaen side Stavanger Oilers. Opened ahead of the 2012–13 season, the arena has a capacity for 4,500 spectators during ice hockey matches and 6,000 during concerts, including 36 executive boxes. The rink is unusual for Norway in that it has the National Hockey League rink size. The 16,500 square meters (178,000 sq ft) building is designed by Arkitektkontoret Jobb and is named for DNB, a Norwegian banking group. Plans for a new venue to replace the aging Stavanger Ishall were first articulated by club-owner Tore Christiansen in 2006. Construction started in May 2011, with Kruse Smith as the main contractor. Construction cost 210 million Norwegian krone (NOK). The venue is owned by the Oilers' investment company, which receives a combined 9 million per year from DNB and the municipality. The arena hosted group stages of 2012–13 IIHF Continental Cup and 2013 IIHF Women's World Championship Division I. It's currently hosting the 2023 World Women's Handball Championship.

Stavanger Idrettshall is an indoor arena in Stavanger, Norway. It hosts the home games of the Stavanger handball team, and then has a capacity 4100 people. This arena hosted the main stage of the 2008 European Men's Handball Championship. It will host the 2025 World Men's Handball Championship with the country, Croatia and Denmark.

The red brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1974 using designs by the architectural firm: Byarkitekten Stavanger. The church seats about 500 people.

Mosvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. The lake lies just west of the centre of the city of Stavanger in the Eiganes og Våland borough. At 0.45 square kilometres (110 acres), it is the third largest lake in the city of Stavanger after Hålandsvatnet and Stora Stokkavatnet. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 3.2 metres (10 ft) and it lies at an elevation of 37 metres (121 ft) above sea level. The lake flows out through a small stream that runs through underground culverts to the Breiavatnet lake before emptying into the nearby Byfjorden.

Madlamark is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Madla at the innermost part of the Hafrsfjorden. This area was historically part of the municipality of Madla until 1965. The neighborhood has a population of 6,556 which is distributed over an area of 2.49 square kilometres (620 acres). Madlamark Church is located in the centre of the neighborhood.

It was established in 2005 when the Stavanger University College received university status. The university is organised in six faculties. In 2024 it had a budget of just under two billion NOK, which corresponds to roughly $190 million.

Madlamark Church (Norwegian: Madlamark kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the southern part of the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the Madlamark neighborhood in the borough of Madla in the western part of the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Madlamark parish which is part of the Ytre Stavanger prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The large, brick church was built in a fan-shaped design in 1976 using designs by the architect Toralf Kaada. The church seats about 600 people.

Stavanger Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Stavanger, Norway. It was used mostly for football matches and hosted the home matches of Viking FK. The stadium opened on 13 August 1917, and was able to hold 17,555 people at the end of its life as Viking's home ground in 2004. The west stand was the largest single-tier spectator stand in the country. The other stands were small roofless terraces without seating.
