Termunterzijl (Dutch pronunciation: [tɛrˈmʏntərˌzɛil]; Gronings: Ziel [ˈzil]) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Eemsdelta, and lies about 32 km east of Groningen.

Weiwerd (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈʋɛiʋərt]; Gronings: Waaiwerd [ˈʋɑːɪ̯ʋət]) is a former village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Eemsdelta, and lies about 27 km east of Groningen.Formerly a farming community with its own church, school, and shops, the whole village was scheduled for demolition in the 1970s to allow the industrial area of Delfzijl harbour to be expand. Less than 10% of the original buildings are left. The school and the cemetery have remained. The terp (artificial living hill) was supposed to be excavated as well, however protests have prevented its destruction, and the terp is now a protected monument.

The Rysum organ in Rysum Church in Rysum, north Germany, is the oldest instrument of its kind in northern Europe that still largely has its original pipes. It is also one of the oldest playable church organs in the world alongside those in Sion, St. Valentin in Kiedrich, and Ostönnen. The exact date of its construction is not entirely known, but dates of 1457 and 1440 have been proposed. It was rebuilt in 1513. After undergoing several other modifications through the years it was restored to its 1513 condition by Jürgen Ahrend and Gerhard Brunzema in 1959. The organ has seven stops on one manual.

Delfzijl (Dutch pronunciation: [dɛl(ə)fˈsɛil] ; abbreviation: Dz) is a railway station in Delfzijl, Netherlands. It is located on the Groningen–Delfzijl railway after Delfzijl West as the terminus for passengers. The railway line continues further east, but only for freight trains. The station building was completed in 1883 and train services started on 15 June 1884. The trains are currently operated by Arriva.

Wybelsum is a village in Lower Saxony, Germany. Located to the west of the city, it is administratively a district (Stadtteil) of Emden. The village was incorporated as such on 1 July 1972, as were the villages of Logumer Vorwerk and Twixlum.The village was mentioned in a document in 1348 as Wivelsum, probably a combination of the nickname Wifel and the suffix -um ('home'), therefore meaning "Wifel's home".The village has a church from 1700, which replaced the church of the village of Geerdsweer, which was abandoned after a storm surge in 1699.
