Borgsweer (Dutch pronunciation: [bɔr(ə)xsˈʋeːr]; Gronings: Börgsweer [bœːχsˈʋɪːr]) is a town in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is a part of the municipality of Eemsdelta, and is located about 31 km east of the city of Groningen. The statistical area "Borgsweer", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 130.

Less than 10% of the original buildings are left. The school and the cemetery have remained. The terp (artificial living hill) was supposed to be excavated as well, however protests have prevented its destruction, and the terp is now a protected monument.

Wybelsum is a village in Lower Saxony, Germany. Located to the west of the city, it is administratively a district (Stadtteil) of Emden. The village was incorporated as such on 1 July 1972, as were the villages of Logumer Vorwerk and Twixlum.The village was mentioned in a document in 1348 as Wivelsum, probably a combination of the nickname Wifel and the suffix -um ('home'), therefore meaning "Wifel's home".The village has a church from 1700, which replaced the church of the village of Geerdsweer, which was abandoned after a storm surge in 1699.

Campen is a village in the region of East Frisia, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is part of the municipality of Krummhörn. Although Campen is only a small village, it still has two churches: the Reformed village church from the thirteenth century and a Old-Reformed church from 1905. Near the village is the Campen lighthouse. It was built in 1889 and has been in use since 1891. It is 65.3 meters high, making it the tallest lighthouse in Germany.The village of Campen was first attested as Campe maiori in the 10th century.

Campen Lighthouse is an active lighthouse in the village of Campen, by the Ems estuary, northwest of Emden, in the East Frisia region, state of Lower Saxony, Germany. At a height of 213 feet (65 m) it is the fourteenth tallest "traditional lighthouse" in the world and the tallest in Germany.The structure consists of a free-standing lattice tower with the stair shaft inside. The lighthouse was built in 1889 and went in service on 1 October 1891. The lamp of Campen Lighthouse has a light intensity of 4.5 million candelas, the most powerful lighthouse lamp in Germany. Remarkably, the aperture of its flashing light to the left and right has an angle of only 0.3 degrees. The continuous light aperture is also quite small, less than 0.6 degrees. The machine building contains the oldest workable diesel engine in Germany. It was built in 1906 and has a power of 15 kilowatts.

Midwolda (Dutch pronunciation: [mɪtˈʋɔldaː]) is a village in the Dutch province of Groningen. It is located in the municipality of Oldambt, about 7 km northwest of Winschoten. Midwolda was a separate municipality until 1990, when it was merged with Scheemda.
