The Math and Science Academy (MSA) is a charter school that serves students in grades 6 through 12. It is located in the City Center neighborhood of Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. MSA is a tuition free public school open to any student in the state of Minnesota. Subject areas include mathematics, science, humanities, and foreign language. Students must pass complete programs in science and mathematics including biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Graduates meet or exceed the Minnesota Graduation Standards in all areas. Students may be moved into a different mathematics course level depending on performance. Since its founding, MSA has encouraged its juniors and seniors to take advantage of Minnesota's Post Secondary Enrollment Option, in which high school students can take courses at a college or university in Minnesota, tuition paid by the state of Minnesota. This option has been very popular among the upperclassmen. While there are often very few upper-level course offerings due to lack of demand, most MSA students will have already earned anywhere from 1 to 4 semesters of college credit upon graduation. More recently, MSA has also begun offering AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Science Principles and A, Physics B, Chemistry and Biology.

The Charles Spangenberg Farmstead is a historic farm in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States, established in 1869. The three oldest buildings, including an 1871 farmhouse, were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 for having local significance in the theme of agriculture. The property was nominated for being one of Washington County's few remaining 19th-century farmsteads.

The radio studios and offices are in Plymouth. By day, WCTS transmits 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM stations. Because 1030 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for WBZ in Boston, WCTS reduces power to 4,000 watts at night and uses a directional antenna at all times, with a five-tower array at night. The transmitter is on Woodbury Drive at Glacial Valley Road in Woodbury. Programming is also heard on 250 watt FM translator K250BY at 97.9 MHz in Plymouth.

WREY (630 kHz, "94.9 El Rey") is a Spanish-language AM radio station with studios located in the Westside neighborhood in St. Paul. It is licensed to Saint Paul, Minnesota, although it was licensed to Hudson, Wisconsin from 1997 to 2005. The station's signal covers the Minneapolis-St. Paul media market. The transmitter and towers are located in Woodbury, Minnesota along South Washington County Highway 19. WREY broadcasts a Regional Mexican music format, at 3,000 watts by day and 2,400 watts at night.WREY simulcasts on FM translator station W235CT (94.9) St. Paul.

Globe University and Minnesota School of Business (Globe/MSB) was a private for-profit education network based in Washington County, Minnesota, providing specialized training programs in business, accounting, medical, legal, information technology, massage, veterinary technology, and design fields. The large network had multiple campuses in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota. In September 2016, the state of Minnesota stopped the business from operating in the state. All Globe/MSB locations were permanently closed by 2017 because they lost their federal student aid funding.

Woodbury High School, formerly Woodbury Senior High, is a high school serving grades 9–12 in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. It is part of the South Washington County Schools. The school's mascot is 'Roar the Lion' and the school colors are blue and white.

SuperAmerica was a chain of gasoline stations and convenience stores in the Upper Midwest, based in Woodbury, Minnesota. It was owned by Marathon Petroleum. The first convenience store opened in the 1960s. SuperAmerica had 278 stores with 271 in Minnesota, 11 in Wisconsin and 2 in South Dakota.

The Cordenio Severance House is a mansion in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States, built for attorney Cordenio Severance (1862–1925). The mansion, also known as Cedarhurst, was first built as a simple country farm house shortly after the American Civil War. It was expanded in 1886 to serve as the summer residence of the Severance family. Between 1911 and 1917, additions designed by architect Cass Gilbert expanded the house into a mansion with 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) and 26 rooms. The Cordenio Severance House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and law. It was nominated for its association with Cordenio Severance, a leading attorney in Saint Paul, Minnesota, from 1887 to the 1920s, and for being an example of a grand country estate. The mansion now serves as an event venue.

New Life Academy of Woodbury is a private Christian school located in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. The school is available for preschool through 12th grade and there are about 750 students. New Life Academy of Woodbury, along with New Life Church of Woodbury, was founded in 1977 by Pastor Dick and Patti Wiens. New Life Academy is still closely tied to New Life Church. It is the largest Christian school in the eastern Twin Cities metro area.

The Minnesota School of Cosmetology is a for-profit cosmetology school with one location in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul metro, The campus is located in Woodbury, Minnesota. The school offers a complete 1550-hour course in cosmetology, a 600-hour course in esthiology, a 500-hour course in massage therapy, and a 38-hour instructor course. A secondary location was located in Plymouth, Minnesota from 2012 to 2020.
