WCTS (1030 kHz, "The Bible Station") is a non-commercial AM radio station licensed to Maplewood, Minnesota, and serving the Twin Cities. It broadcasts a Christian talk and teaching radio format and is owned by the Central Baptist Theological Seminary of Minneapolis, hence the call letters. The radio studios and offices are in Plymouth. By day, WCTS transmits 50,000 watts, the maximum for AM stations. Because 1030 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for WBZ in Boston, WCTS reduces power to 4,000 watts at night and uses a directional antenna at all times, with a five-tower array at night. The transmitter is on Woodbury Drive at Glacial Valley Road in Woodbury. Programming is also heard on 250 watt FM translator K250BY at 97.9 MHz in Plymouth.

The three oldest buildings, including an 1871 farmhouse, were listed together on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 for having local significance in the theme of agriculture. The property was nominated for being one of Washington County's few remaining 19th-century farmsteads.

The Cordenio Severance House is a mansion in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States, built for attorney Cordenio Severance (1862–1925). The mansion, also known as Cedarhurst, was first built as a simple country farm house shortly after the American Civil War. It was expanded in 1886 to serve as the summer residence of the Severance family. Between 1911 and 1917, additions designed by architect Cass Gilbert expanded the house into a mansion with 12,000 square feet (1,100 m2) and 26 rooms. The Cordenio Severance House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 for its local significance in the themes of architecture and law. It was nominated for its association with Cordenio Severance, a leading attorney in Saint Paul, Minnesota, from 1887 to the 1920s, and for being an example of a grand country estate. The mansion now serves as an event venue.

The John P. Furber House is a historic house in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, United States, built in 1871, the same year Furber officially platted the 20-year-old settlement. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982 for having local significance in the theme of community planning and development. It was nominated for its association with the phenomenon in early Washington County towns of platting well after communities had already been established.

The Math and Science Academy (MSA) is a charter school that serves students in grades 6 through 12. It is located in the City Center neighborhood of Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. MSA is a tuition free public school open to any student in the state of Minnesota. Subject areas include mathematics, science, humanities, and foreign language. Students must pass complete programs in science and mathematics including biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Graduates meet or exceed the Minnesota Graduation Standards in all areas. Students may be moved into a different mathematics course level depending on performance. Since its founding, MSA has encouraged its juniors and seniors to take advantage of Minnesota's Post Secondary Enrollment Option, in which high school students can take courses at a college or university in Minnesota, tuition paid by the state of Minnesota. This option has been very popular among the upperclassmen. While there are often very few upper-level course offerings due to lack of demand, most MSA students will have already earned anywhere from 1 to 4 semesters of college credit upon graduation. More recently, MSA has also begun offering AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Science Principles and A, Physics B, Chemistry and Biology.

New Life Academy of Woodbury is a private Christian school located in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. The school is available for preschool through 12th grade and there are about 750 students. New Life Academy of Woodbury, along with New Life Church of Woodbury, was founded in 1977 by Pastor Dick and Patti Wiens. New Life Academy is still closely tied to New Life Church. It is the largest Christian school in the eastern Twin Cities metro area.
