SuperAmerica was a chain of gasoline stations and convenience stores in the Upper Midwest, based in Woodbury, Minnesota. It was owned by Marathon Petroleum. The first convenience store opened in the 1960s. SuperAmerica had 278 stores with 271 in Minnesota, 11 in Wisconsin and 2 in South Dakota.

Woodbury ( WUUD-BERR-ee) is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States, eight miles (13 km) east of Saint Paul along Interstate 94. It is part of the Minneapolis–Saint Paul metropolitan area. The population was 75,102 at the 2020 census, making it Minnesota's eighth most populous city.

Oakdale is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States. It is a suburb of Saint Paul and is on the eastern side of the Twin Cities Metropolitan area. The population was 28,303 at the 2020 census. Oakdale is the 36th largest city in Minnesota by population. Oakdale lies entirely within the North St. Paul–Maplewood–Oakdale school district, ISD 622, and the city's students are split into two high schools within the district. Tartan Senior High School is within the city's boundaries, and serves the southern half of Oakdale. The city's northern residents are served by North High School in North St. Paul. Imation (now known as Glassbridge) World Headquarters was in Oakdale. Nearby 3M headquarters employs many residents of the city.

Crosswinds East Metro Arts and Science School was a year-round arts and science magnet school located in Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. Crosswinds focuses on cultural diversity, alternative learning styles, and environmental science as the foundations of its education. It provides academic and artistic opportunities for students from urban and suburban neighborhoods to achieve continuing success in a year-round program. The Perpich Center for Arts Education manages Crosswinds. Crosswinds teaches students from ages 11 to 16 (grades 6 through 10). In the beginning of the 2000s there were large gains for students of color, and with the recent conveyance, student achievement has declined significantly according to standardized state testing results.

The Math and Science Academy (MSA) is a charter school that serves students in grades 6 through 12. It is located in the City Center neighborhood of Woodbury, Minnesota, United States. MSA is a tuition free public school open to any student in the state of Minnesota. Subject areas include mathematics, science, humanities, and foreign language. Students must pass complete programs in science and mathematics including biology, chemistry, physics, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. Graduates meet or exceed the Minnesota Graduation Standards in all areas. Students may be moved into a different mathematics course level depending on performance. Since its founding, MSA has encouraged its juniors and seniors to take advantage of Minnesota's Post Secondary Enrollment Option, in which high school students can take courses at a college or university in Minnesota, tuition paid by the state of Minnesota. This option has been very popular among the upperclassmen. While there are often very few upper-level course offerings due to lack of demand, most MSA students will have already earned anywhere from 1 to 4 semesters of college credit upon graduation. More recently, MSA has also begun offering AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Computer Science Principles and A, Physics B, Chemistry and Biology.

Tartan Senior High School is a public secondary school in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States. It is a member of Independent School District 622. Since its opening in 1971, Tartan has grown to more than 1,800 students supported by 120-plus teachers, administrators, aides, custodians, administrative assistants and other support staff. Tartan offers a comprehensive academic program consisting of core courses as well as a wide range of electives in the fine arts, industrial technologies, business education, world languages and cultures, and others. The school mascot is the Titan and its colors are Black, Silver, White and Royal Blue.

Woodwinds Health Campus is a hospital in Woodbury, Minnesota. It is currently part of M Health Fairview and a former member of the HealthEast Care System. It was recognized as innovative for successfully blending integrative health services with traditional medicine. Woodwinds is a full-service 86-bed hospital, located on 30-acres of wetlands. It was one of three hospitals nationally recognized by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), for its evidence-based healing environment and hospital design. It is a collaboration between M Health Fairview and Children’s Minnesota.

The St. Paul Minnesota Temple is the 69th operating temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). It is located in Oakdale, Minnesota, United States, a suburb of St. Paul, Minnesota, and is the first temple of the LDS Church to be built in the state. The site of the St. Paul Minnesota Temple is also the site of a stake center, a larger meetinghouse for the members of the LDS Church. The temple is situated on a wooded 7.5-acre (3.0 ha) site. The building itself features a single spire and is covered with a light gray granite veneer.
