Willie Lake

Greenleaf Lake is a lake in Meeker County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota. It measures 18 feet at its deepest, and is used for both fishing and recreation.Greenleaf Lake was named for William H. Greenleaf, an early settler.

Greenleaf Lake State Recreation Area is a state park unit of Minnesota, USA, currently in development. It includes undeveloped shoreline on both Greenleaf and Sioux Lakes, halfway between the cities of Hutchinson and Litchfield in Meeker County. Portions of the state recreation area (SRA) are open to the public for day-use recreation, but there are no facilities yet on site. The park boundaries were set by the Minnesota Legislature and the state is still acquiring land from willing sellers; two-thirds of the property remain privately owned.

Litchfield Wetland Management District is located on the eastern edge of the Prairie Pothole Region in central Minnesota. More than 33,000 acres (130 km2) of United States Fish and Wildlife Service-owned land and 8,000 acres (32 km2) of wetland easements provide marsh, prairie, transition, and woodland habitats. District lands are located on over 150 waterfowl production areas scattered throughout seven counties. These areas vary greatly in size and vegetation and provide habitat for numerous plant and animal species.

Stahl Lake is a lake in McLeod County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Stahl Lake was named for Charles Stahl, a pioneer who settled there.

Brightwood Beach Cottage is an historic octagonal building on the southern shore of Lake Ripley in Litchfield, Minnesota, United States, that once was a part of the Brightwood Beach Resort of the late nineteenth century. The resort opened in 1889, and it offered cultural amenities such as concerts, classes in fine arts, and other live entertainment. Other summer activities included dancing, ball games, and canoeing and steamboat excursions on Lake Ripley. The Minnesota Editorial Association, in a report at the time, called Brightwood "the most lovely spot in Minnesota" and a "gem of a lake with pebbly shores and blue as the vaults of heaven." Thousands of people visited the resort, many of them wealthy individuals pictured in suits and fancy dresses, but the resort was not financially successful. In 1893, the resort was forced to close, a victim of the Panic of 1893 and competition from resorts to the north that became accessible by railroad. On May 22, 1978, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places

Lake Ripley is a lake in Meeker County, in the U.S. state of Minnesota.Lake Ripley was named for Frederick N. Ripley, who died there of exposure during the winter of 1855.

Darwin Township is a township in Meeker County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 713 at the 2000 census. The township includes the city of Darwin plus a small eastern portion of the city of Litchfield. Darwin Township was organized in 1858, and named for E. Darwin Litchfield, a railroad official.

Meeker County is a county in the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of the 2020 census, the population was 23,400. Its county seat is Litchfield.
