Block 185 is an under construction office skyscraper located at 601 W. 2nd St. in Downtown Austin, Texas. The tower topped out in July 2021, and final completion is expected for Q2 2022. The tower is the fourth tallest in Austin at 594 feet, and the tallest office tower in Texas outside of Houston or Dallas. Block 185 is bound to the west by Shoal Creek, to the east by Nueces Street, to the north by Second Street and to the south by Cesar Chavez Street. The tower is located on the final parcel of the former Green Water Treatment Plant and in Austin's Second Street District.

The Seaholm Power Plant is a historic former power station located on the north shore of Lady Bird Lake in Downtown Austin, Texas. Opened in 1951, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. The power plant ceased operation in 1996, and the facility and site were later redeveloped into a mixed-use district.

The Northshore is a mixed-use building in Austin, Texas that includes 150 residential units and 40,000 square feet of retail and office space. Co-Working company Galvanize occupies the office space in the building. As of 2019, the tower stands as the 9th tallest building in Austin, Texas. The building is the tallest apartment building in the city. The Northshore is part of the redevelopment of the former Green Water Treatment Plant site in downtown Austin.The tower was originally planned to have a twin on neighboring Block 185, but the plan was reduced in scope to the single tower on Block 1 in 2014. Block 185 began construction in 2019, as a different design.

The Third Street Railroad Trestle is a historic wooden railroad trestle bridge crossing Shoal Creek in downtown Austin, Texas. Built around 1922 by the International–Great Northern Railroad, it replaced an earlier bridge in the same place. The bridge was used by the I–GN Railroad, the Missouri Pacific Railroad, and the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad until 1964, when commercial rail traffic stopped; after 1991 the bridge was abandoned. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.

Jamie Odom Pavilion, or simply Odom Pavilion, is a memorial pavilion along Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, United States. The platform has been described as Austin's "most underused city-owned property".

Liberty Lunch was a live-music venue at 405 W. 2nd Street in Austin, Texas that operated until 1999. It was rumored to have been called Liberty Lunch in the 1940s as an eatery, perhaps reflecting the World War II Liberty Bonds and patriotic sentiment. Liberty Lunch has become notable in the history of Austin music, along with the Armadillo World Headquarters.

The Independent is a completed residential skyscraper in Austin, Texas. At a height of 690 ft (210 m), it is the tallest building in the city, surpassing the 683 ft (208 m) tall Austonian, another residential skyscraper. The building was proposed in 2014, construction began in 2016, and was completed in spring 2019. It contains 58 floors, 370 condos, and it has been nicknamed the "Jenga Tower", and the "Tetris Tower". The 9th floor contains amenities such as a heated pool, club room, playground, and dog park, while the 34th floor contains a fitness center, yoga deck, and an outdoor lounge.The design of the tower's crown has been criticized, to the extent of a protest group named Fix The Crown being created in March 2019.

The 360 Residential Condominiums skyscraper is located in Downtown Austin, Texas at 360 Nueces Street. The building itself stands 581 ft (177 m) tall with 44 floors, 430 condos, and over 14,000 sq ft (1,300 m2) of retail space. The building topped out in November 2007, and construction was officially completed on May 22, 2008. 360 Condominiums was the tallest building in Austin from January 15, 2008 to June 29, 2009 when The Austonian surpassed it. The tower also became the tallest residential tower in Texas, surpassing The Merc in Dallas before the Austonian also took that title. Currently, it is the fourth tallest building in Austin after The Independent, The Austonian, and the Fairmont Austin.The Austin 360 Condominiums Tower was developed by Billy Holley and Judd Bobilin of Novare Group and Andrews Urban LLC, designed by Preston Partnership LLC, sales managed by Kevin McDaniel and built by JE Dunn Construction.

The J.P. Schneider Store is a historic commerce building in downtown Austin, Texas built in 1873. Built along Second Street, the structure is the only remaining historic building in the immediate vicinity and is today surrounded by Austin City Hall and the headquarters of Silicon Labs. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. As of December 2006, Lamberts Downtown Barbeque is housed in the space.

The Town Lake Gazebo (also known as the Women in Construction Gazebo or Fannie Davis Town Lake Gazebo) is a historic gazebo on the south shore of Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, beside Auditorium Shores. Built in 1969 to beautify the south shore of Lady Bird Lake, the gazebo was paid for by the National Association of Women in Construction and features eclectic architecture. The structure was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Disch Field was a baseball field located in Austin, Texas, that opened in 1947 and hosted many minor league teams and playoff series. The diamond is at the present time part of the park behind The Long Center for the Performing Arts and the Palmer Events Complex between W. Riverside Drive and Barton Springs Road in South Austin, along the Colorado River. The park includes an open area called Willie Wells Field, named for the Austin-born Negro league baseball legend. Disch Field was the first, followed by UFCU Disch-Falk Field, to be named after Billy Disch.
