The Monastery and Church of Saint George in Al-Khader (Arabic: دير وكنيسة القديس جاورجيوس) is an Eastern Orthodox Christian religious site in the Palestinian town of al-Khader, near Beit Jala and Bethlehem, in the central West Bank of the State of Palestine. The town of Al-Khader is named after Saint George, who in Arab culture is known as "al-Khadr"; the church is considered to be the most important sanctuary to al-Khadr in Palestine.According to local tradition, Saint George was imprisoned in the town of al-Khader, where the current church stands. The chains holding him were relics that were said to hold healing power.

Al-Khader Stadium is an international football stadium in the Palestinian town of al-Khader near Bethlehem. It was inaugurated on August 6, 2007 with a match between local team Shabab Al-Khadr, and Maccabi Ahi Nazareth, an Israeli Arab team from Nazareth. The stadium was constructed with funding from Portugal through the Portuguese Institute for Cooperation for Development. Al-Khader Stadium cost roughly $2 million to build and could host over 6,000 spectators. It is the home stadium of Shabab Al-Khadr. In addition to football, the stadium hosts the annual al-Khader Festival of Arts and Culture and the grape festival of the town.

Har Gilo (Hebrew: הַר גִּלֹה, lit. 'Mount Gilo'; Arabic: هار جيلو) is an Israeli settlement in the West Bank, organized as a community settlement, located about 2 kilometers west of the Palestinian city of Bethlehem and 5 kilometers south of Jerusalem, in the northern Judean hills. The international community considers Israeli settlements in the West Bank illegal under international law, but the Israeli government disputes this.

Al-Dawha (Arabic: الدوحة) is a Palestinian area located in Beit Jala, two kilometers southwest of Bethlehem. Originally a part of Beit Jala, in 1977 the mayor of Beit Jala made an official trip to Qatar where he was endowed with a sum of money to develop the town's infrastructure. As a tribute to Qatar's funding, an area of Beit Jala was renamed Al-Dawha, a reference to the Qatari capital of Doha. In 1996, this area was officially converted into the city of Al-Dawha along with the formation of the new municipal council of Al-Dawha.According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 12,752 in 2017.Al-Dawha is 90% Muslim and 10% Christians.

Beit Jala (Arabic: ) is a Palestinian Christian town in the Bethlehem Governorate of Palestine, in the West Bank. Beit Jala is located 10 km (6.2 mi)10 km south of Jerusalem, on the western side of the Hebron road, opposite Bethlehem, at 825 meters (2,707 ft) altitude. In 2017, Beit Jala had 13,484 inhabitants according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics. About 80% of the population were Christians (mostly Greek Orthodox) and about 20% Muslims. Saint Nicholas – the inspiration for Santa Claus – is the patron saint of Beit Jala, where the Church of Saint Nicholas was built over a crypt where it is believed he lived for a couple years during his time in Palestine.

Al-Khader (Arabic: الخضر) is a Palestinian town in the Bethlehem Governorate of the State of Palestine, in the south-central West Bank. It is located 5 kilometers (3.1 mi) west of Bethlehem. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 11,856 in 2017. The area around al-Khader is marked by vineyards, and olive and fig trees.Solomon's Pools, Murad Fortress (a Turkish Ottoman castle built by Suleiman the Magnificent in 1617 to defend Solomon’s Pools, that today houses a Museum for Palestinian Culture and Heritage), the Monastery and Church of St. George, and Al-Hamadiyya Mosque are al-Khader's main landmarks.

Dheisheh (Arabic: مخيم الدهيشة) is a Palestinian refugee camp located just south of Bethlehem in the West Bank. Dheisheh was established in 1949 on 0.31 square kilometers of land leased from the Jordanian government. The camp was established as a temporary refuge for 3,400 Palestinians from 45 villages west of Jerusalem and Hebron who fled during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War. The camp had a population of 8,805 in 2017.Six decades of natural population growth have expanded the camp's dimensions into an area between 1 and 1.5 square kilometers. The exact dimensions are subject to periodic debate between residents, UNRWA and the Palestinian Authority. The latter two are required to provide services to residents, depending on their resident status within the camp. Although initially living in tents, the residents have since constructed homes. Many streets are now paved, while still remaining very narrow. According to UNRWA, the entire camp is connected to the municipal water and electric systems of Bethlehem, yet 15% of the camp remains unconnected to the local public sewage system. These homes make use of communal percolation pits.

Bethlehem Convention Palace or Convention Palace Company (CPC; Arabic: قصر المؤتمرات بيت لحم) is a convention center facility in Bethlehem, Palestine. The building includes a main meeting hall, exhibition gallery, theatre, meeting rooms, gardens, interfaith prayer room and cafeteria. There is also a large amphitheater that can host nearly 1,500 people.,Neighboring landmarks are Qal'at Murad (Murad's Castle) and Solomon's Pools.

The Cremisan Valley is a valley located in Palestine on the seam line between the West Bank and Jerusalem. The valley is one of the last green areas in the Bethlehem district, with vast stretches of agricultural lands and recreational grounds. The Salesian Sisters Convent and School, the Salesian Monastery and Cremisan Cellars are located in the valley.

Solomon's Pools (Arabic: برك سليمان, romanized: Burak Sulaymān, or in short el-Burak, 'the pools'; Hebrew: בריכות שלמה, romanized: Breichot Shlomo) are three ancient reservoirs located in the south-central West Bank, immediately to the south of al-Khader, about 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) southwest of Bethlehem, near the road to Hebron. The pools are located in Area A of the West Bank under the control of the Palestinian National Authority.Solomon's Pools provided the water for two aqueducts that delivered water to Jerusalem during the late Second Temple period. The first one, known as the "Low-level Aqueduct," is thought to have been built in the first century BCE, around the end of the Hasmonean period. It delivered water to cisterns located underground beneath the Temple Mount, which were primarily used by the Temple. A second aqueduct, the "High-Level Aqueduct," took a similar path, but it is uncertain where it ended up in Jerusalem. It might have provided water to Herod's Palace. The Herodium also received water from the Solomon's Pools.

The See or Diocese of Bethlehem was a diocese in the Roman Catholic Church during the Crusades and is now a titular see. It was associated with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Nevers.

Artas (Arabic: أرطاس) is a Palestinian village located four kilometers southwest of Bethlehem in the Bethlehem Governorate of Palestine, in the central West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of 5,745 in 2017.
