South Surrey Park and Ride

The Serpentine Wildlife Management Area is a small wildlife management area located on the south coast of British Columbia in Surrey. It contains many kilometers of walking trail and viewing towers to enjoy the nature and observe the many species found in the area. Although the boundaries have changed over the years, the Government of British Columbia still manages the land to ensure it meets the currents goals that were set in place to protect the local and endangered species that inhabit the area as well as monitoring the effects of climate change. This is done in partnership with Ducks Unlimited Canada, although the land falls within the territories of the Semiahmoo and Tsawwassen First Nation.

Surrey/King George Airpark (TC LID: CSK8) was located 1.7 nautical miles (3.1 km; 2.0 mi) southwest of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. NAV Canada announced in a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) on September 30, 2020, that this airpark is permanently closed.

Sunnyside is a neighbourhood of South Surrey, which in turn is a region of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.

The Serpentine River's headwaters are in North Surrey, British Columbia. The river winds its way to its mouth at Mud Bay, off the Strait of Georgia and is extensively irrigated. It has a watershed area of 116 km2 and a total length of 35 km.The marshy Serpentine Wildlife Area ('Serpentine Fen') near where the river passes beneath King George Boulevard, is a stopping place for migratory birds, waterfowl and a variety of animals.

South Surrey Athletic Park is a popular recreational park in the White Rock/South Surrey community. The park is bound by 18th avenue to the south, 148th street to the east, 24th avenue to the North and Sunnyside Urban Acres Forest to the west. The park has three baseball diamonds, an indoor baseball training facility, tennis and volleyball courts, a number of grass and artificial turf soccer fields and an outdoor red urethane oval track. There are also four multi-purpose fields adjacent to Semiahmoo Secondary School that are commonly used for football, rugby and soccer. The park also has a skateboarding facility, an outdoor waterpark, a mountain bike park, a youth community centre and a Rotary Field house.South Surrey Athletic Park is home to two large establishments: Softball City, a softball complex with four diamonds that is host to the annual Canada Cup international women's fastpitch tournament, and South Surrey Arena, a hockey arena that is home to the South Surrey Eagles. Many other local teams play (or played) their home games at South Surrey Athletic Park, including: The White Rock Tritons of the B.C. Premier Baseball League, the Big Kahuna Rams, the Peace Arch Soccer Club, Coastal Football Club, and the Surrey Beavers and Bayside Sharks of the BC Rugby League.Scenes from the 1998 film Air Bud: Golden Receiver were shot at South Surrey Athletic Park.

White Rock Christian Academy (WRCA) is a Pre-K to Grade 12 Christian private school in South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. WRCA states its core purpose is to "inspire and cultivate citizens of Godly character who transform their world for Christ".

Elgin Park Secondary is a public high school in School District 36 Surrey. It is referred to as the "Home of the Orcas". Elgin Park is one of four public high schools on the peninsula, along with Earl Marriott Secondary School, Semiahmoo Secondary School, and Grandview Heights Secondary School.

Semiahmoo Secondary School ( SEM-ee-AH-moh) is a public high school in South Surrey, British Columbia, and is part of School District 36 Surrey. It was founded in 1940 as the first senior secondary school in South Surrey. The school serves grades eight through twelve.Semiahmoo is one of four public high schools on the peninsula, along with Earl Marriott Secondary School, Elgin Park Secondary School and Grandview Heights Secondary School. The school is named after the indigenous Semiahmoo people.

South Surrey—White Rock (French: Surrey-Sud—White Rock) is a federal electoral district in British Columbia, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2015. It encompass a portion of British Columbia previously included in the electoral districts of Fleetwood—Port Kells, Newton—North Delta, and South Surrey—White Rock—Cloverdale.South Surrey—White Rock was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, on October 19, 2015.The 2017 by-election was won by Liberal candidate and former White Rock mayor Gordie Hogg. However, the Conservatives were quick to regain their seat with Kerry-Lynne Findlay winning the 43nd Canadian federal election, defeating Gordie Hogg who entered Parliament through a by-election.

CISF-FM is an English-language radio station which broadcasts a combined adult contemporary/community radio format on the frequency of 107.7 MHz in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. The new station is based in the Surrey town centre of Cloverdale and is owned by South Fraser Broadcasting Inc. (a different company from the similarly named South Fraser Broadcasting which once owned CISL and CKZZ-FM). Approval from the CRTC was made on August 6, 2014. The station is licensed to broadcast with an effective radiated power of 2500 watts (with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 132.4 metres). The station began testing on December 18, 2015. In addition to music, the station broadcasts local news and other spoken word content targeted at Surrey's diverse population.

Sullivan Heights Secondary is a well known high school located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Sullivan Heights opened on October 24, 2000, with a student population of over 1000 students (grades 8 through 10), with grade 11 being added in the 2001–02 school year, and grade 12 being added in the 2002–03 school year. Today, Sullivan Heights is home to thousands of students (in grades 8 through 12), and over 100 staff members. The school's programs include a strong Performing Arts Program including Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre, Band, and Choir. Other programs include Leadership, Electronics, Drafting, Sewing, Cooking, Tourism, and Information Technology. The school also offers a wide array of extracurricular activities including Student Council, Grad Council, Athletics, Outdoors Club, Programming and Improv /Theatre Sports. The school has an attached theatre, The Bell Centre For Performing Arts. The centre cost about $8 million to construct and, although its main focus is to be a rental venue for community user groups, it is also used by the school from time to time, with a highlight being an annual matinee for local elementary schools that sees the entire 1000 seat theatre full. Semiahmoo Shopping Centre ( SEH-mee-AH-moo) is an indoor shopping mall on the Semiahmoo peninsula in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Opened in 1980, the shopping centre is named after the nearby Semiahmoo Bay and is currently anchored by Save-On-Foods and Winners.
