Lankwitz (German pronunciation: [ˈlaŋkˌvɪt͡s] (listen)) is a German locality (Ortsteil) within the borough (Bezirk) of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Berlin. Until 2001 it was part of the former borough of Steglitz.

The Preussenstadion is a football stadium in the Berlin district of Lankwitz (Steglitz-Zehlendorf). The football club BFC Preussen play their home games in the stadium, which has a capacity of 3,000 spectators, including 200 seats. At the opening on 23 October 1938, the capacity was for 20,000 spectators, but the stadium was destroyed in the Second World War and was rebuilt gradually. From the originally built stadium, the concrete steps are preserved as the "oldest standing traverses of Berlin".The stadium is located at Malteserstraße 24-36, at the corner of Kamenzer Damm, opposite the Lankwitz municipal park.

Lankwitz station is on the Anhalt Suburban Line in the suburb of Lankwitz in the Berlin borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf. It is served by S-Bahn line S25 and S-Bahn line S26. It has a south-western entrance on Brucknerstraße. Its north-eastern entrance connects to a path which runs to the south-east through a pedestrian tunnel running under the S-Bahn and the mainline to the square in front of Lankwitz Rathaus (town hall). In the other direction (to the north-west), this path provides a barrier-free access to Kaulbachstraße.

Südende station is on the Anhalt Suburban Line in the former villa estate (Villenkolonie) of Südende in the suburb of Steglitz in the Berlin borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf. It is served by S-Bahn line S25 and S-Bahn line S26. Its entrance is on the street of Steglitzer Damm.

Mater Dolorosa is a Roman Catholic parish and church in Berlin-Lankwitz in Germany. Mater Dolorosa belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin. It is named after Our Lady of Sorrows (Latin: mater dolorosa).

The Stiftung Mater Dolorosa Berlin-Lankwitz (Mater Dolorosa Berlin-Lankwitz Foundation) is an independent nonprofit foundation under the civil law of Germany and Berlin based in Lankwitz in the borough Steglitz-Zehlendorf of Berlin. The foundation was founded by the parish Mater Dolorosa (Berlin-Lankwitz) in 2006, and it was the first independent foundation of a parish within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin. The foundation took into consideration the strong cut of financial grants by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin which came along with the decline of church taxes and the consequential financial crisis of the archdiocese in 2003.

Attilastraße station is on the Berlin–Dresden railway in the district of Tempelhof in the Berlin borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. It is served by Berlin S-Bahn line S2. It was opened in 1895 under the name of Mariendorf and electrified in 1939. It was renamed Attilastraße in 1992.

Berlin-Lichterfelde Ost station is on the Anhalt Suburban Line in Lichterfelde in the Berlin borough of Steglitz-Zehlendorf. It is served by S-Bahn line S25, S-Bahn line S26, and Regional-Express lines 3, 4 and 5.

Marienfelde refugee transit camp (German: Notaufnahmelager Marienfelde) was one of three camps operated by West Germany and West Berlin during the cold war for dealing with the great waves of immigration from East Germany, especially between 1950 and 1961. Refugees arriving in West Berlin were sent to the reception centre located in the Marienfelde district, where they received medical treatment, food, identification papers, and housing until they could be permanently re-settled in the West.

The Bamberg-Refraktor is a large telescope. The refracting telescope has an aperture of 320 millimetres, a focal length of five metres and is located in the Wilhelm Foerster Observatory in the Berlin district of Schöneberg. The name "Bamberg" goes back to the builder of the telescope, Carl Bamberg (* 12. Juli 1847 in Kranichfeld; † 4. Juni 1892 in Friedenau), and the term "refractor" (Latin re = 'back' and frangere = 'refract') means that the telescope is made exclusively with light-refracting optical lenses and does not use mirrors or zone plates.
