Marienfelde

Marienfelde refugee transit camp (German: Notaufnahmelager Marienfelde) was one of three camps operated by West Germany and West Berlin during the cold war for dealing with the great waves of immigration from East Germany, especially between 1950 and 1961. Refugees arriving in West Berlin were sent to the reception centre located in the Marienfelde district, where they received medical treatment, food, identification papers, and housing until they could be permanently re-settled in the West.

Berlin-Marienfelde station is a station and a freight yard in Berlin, Germany. It is located on the Berlin–Dresden railway line in the locality of Marienfelde, part of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg borough. The station is part of the Berlin S-Bahn rapid transit network.

Buckower Chaussee station is a station on the Berlin–Dresden railway in the locality of Marienfelde in the Berlin borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. It is served by Berlin S-Bahn line S2.

The Preussenstadion is a football stadium in the Berlin district of Lankwitz (Steglitz-Zehlendorf). The football club BFC Preussen play their home games in the stadium, which has a capacity of 3,000 spectators, including 200 seats. At the opening on 23 October 1938, the capacity was for 20,000 spectators, but the stadium was destroyed in the Second World War and was rebuilt gradually. From the originally built stadium, the concrete steps are preserved as the "oldest standing traverses of Berlin".The stadium is located at Malteserstraße 24-36, at the corner of Kamenzer Damm, opposite the Lankwitz municipal park.

Lankwitz (German pronunciation: [ˈlaŋkˌvɪt͡s] (listen)) is a German locality (Ortsteil) within the borough (Bezirk) of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Berlin. Until 2001 it was part of the former borough of Steglitz.

It was founded on 14 October 1949 by Wenzel Lüdecke and later managed by Lüdecke's son, Wolfram Lüdecke, who served as CEO from 1987 until 2016. Schichauweg station is a station on the Berlin–Dresden railway in the locality of Lichtenrade in the Berlin borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. It is served by Berlin S-Bahn line S2. It was the only new S-Bahn station constructed by the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG, Berlin Transportation Company) after it took over the operations of the S-Bahn in West Berlin.It consists of two side platforms, each of which has exits to the south to the streets of Schichauweg and Barnetstraße. Additional northern entrances were opened from both platforms to the streets of Miethepfad and Kettinger Straße on 25 November 1991.

Mater Dolorosa is a Roman Catholic parish and church in Berlin-Lankwitz in Germany. Mater Dolorosa belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin. It is named after Our Lady of Sorrows (Latin: mater dolorosa).

The Stiftung Mater Dolorosa Berlin-Lankwitz (Mater Dolorosa Berlin-Lankwitz Foundation) is an independent nonprofit foundation under the civil law of Germany and Berlin based in Lankwitz in the borough Steglitz-Zehlendorf of Berlin. The foundation was founded by the parish Mater Dolorosa (Berlin-Lankwitz) in 2006, and it was the first independent foundation of a parish within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin. The foundation took into consideration the strong cut of financial grants by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Berlin which came along with the decline of church taxes and the consequential financial crisis of the archdiocese in 2003.

Alt-Mariendorf is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the line. It serves as the current southern terminus of the line. It was opened in 1966. The architect of the station was R. G. Rümmler. The walls are covered with white tiles, and on the southern entrance, wood was used as a reference to the nearby church.The station has a central platform with two exits. The outputs lead to two separate intermediate levels. On the southern intermediate level are three smaller shops. The underground station has one elevator between the platform and the southern intermediate level as well as the street and is therefore barrier-free . The design of the station was carried out by Rainer G. Rümmler . The walls are provided with large white ceramic tiles, while the center columns with natural stonewere disguised. The opening took place on 28 February 1966 in the course of the extension of the then line C II of Tempelhof (Südring) to Alt-Mariendorf instead. The day after, the line was renamed line 6. At the end of 2018, the station was put together along with twelve other stations of West Berlin subway construction during the 1960s and 1970s under monument protection.

Attilastraße station is on the Berlin–Dresden railway in the district of Tempelhof in the Berlin borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg. It is served by Berlin S-Bahn line S2. It was opened in 1895 under the name of Mariendorf and electrified in 1939. It was renamed Attilastraße in 1992.
