Mon Bel Ami Wedding Chapel is a wedding chapel located on Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Established in 2003, the chapel is a modern renovation of the Silver Bell Wedding Chapel which was built in the 1950s. The venue hosts weddings, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, same-sex weddings and wedding receptions for couples traveling to Las Vegas to get married from all over the world.

Graceland Wedding Chapel is a wedding chapel located in Las Vegas, Nevada that has been the site of many celebrity weddings. It is one of the oldest wedding chapels in Las Vegas and claims to be the first chapel ever to conduct weddings performed by Elvis impersonators.

The Las Vegas Grammar School on Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Historic Fifth Street School, is a school listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Nevada and is located in the city of Las Vegas. Built in 1936, the mission style building is the only one remaining from that era. The school sits on a 20-acre (8.1 ha) site on Las Vegas Boulevard. Juhl is a mixed-use property in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. It features six residential buildings, including a 15-story condominium tower, in addition to restaurants and retailers. Groundbreaking took place in 2006, but construction delays pushed the opening back more than a year. It opened in June 2009, with 341 condominium units, but buyers had difficulty finalizing their condo purchases due to the effects of the Great Recession. In 2013, Juhl's 306 unsold units were sold to a partnership of companies, which turned them into rentals and, in 2017, began putting the rental units back up for sale as condominiums.

The Las Vegas courthouse shooting was an attack on January 4, 2010, in which a gunman opened fire in the lobby of the Lloyd D. George Federal District Courthouse in Las Vegas, Nevada. Two people were killed in the attack, including the gunman, who was identified by authorities as Johnny Lee Wicks, a 66-year-old man disgruntled over cuts to his Social Security benefits. Stanley W. Cooper, a 72-year-old court security officer, was also killed after a shotgun blast struck him in the chest. A 48-year-old deputy U.S. Marshal named Richard "Joe" Gardner was shot in the upper arm, chest, and head, with a total of eight pieces of buckshot entering his body, and hospitalized at the University Medical Center, but survived.

As of May 11, 2022, the United States Attorney is Jason Frierson.

The Club Renaissance was a proposed 60-story condominium tower that would have been built in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. Besides residential units, other features would include office space, retail, and restaurants. The project was announced in January 2005, and construction was originally scheduled to begin later that year. Las Vegas mayor Oscar Goodman initially praised the project for its affordability, noting the $150,000 starting price of its condo units, although he later threatened to revoke approval of the project in 2007, as construction had yet to begin. The project was ultimately canceled following financial issues.

The Railroad Cottage Historic District is an area originally comprising eight historic cottages along Casino Center Boulevard in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada. The eight cottages had once been part of a development of 64 homes constructed by the San Pedro, Los Angeles & Salt Lake Railroad to provide housing for their employees. Although a handful of cottages still existed at the time, only eight neighboring cottages were included in the district when it was created in 1987. Beginning in 2005, all but one of the eight cottages in the district were demolished or moved to clear land for the failed Club Renaissance condominium tower.

Las Vegas High School Neighborhood Historic District, is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. The Las Vegas High School Academic Building and Gymnasium, already listed on the National Register in 1986, is included as a contributing property within the district. That property was later expanded to include Fraser Hall in 2021 and to include the entire 15 acres (6.1 ha) campus of the Las Vegas High School in 2022. When nominated, the area included 236 properties of which 4 were listed on the National Register of Historic Places and a total of 150 properties were contributing properties.

The Wee Kirk o' the Heather was a wedding chapel in Las Vegas, Nevada. It opened in 1940, making it the first wedding chapel in Las Vegas.It was parodied as the Wee Kirk Of Auld Lang Syne in Evelyn Waugh's The Loved One. It is mentioned in Thomas Pynchon's 2009 novel Inherent Vice (pg. 246). The chapel was demolished October 3, 2020.
