Cuarte de Huerva is a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2013 census the municipality has a population of 11043 inhabitants. It is named after the Huerva River.

Cadrete is a small town in north-east Spain, close to Zaragoza. It is notable for its Muslim castle, Mudejar Church and famous Cardoons. More recently, a massive wind-turbine has been installed at less than 300 metres away from the village, producing several landscape damages and high noise rates for town's inhabitants.

The electoral system uses an open list partial block voting, with electors voting for individual candidates instead of parties. Electors can vote for up to three candidates.

Zaragoza (Spanish pronunciation: [θaɾaˈɣoθa]), also called Saragossa in English, is a province of northern Spain, in the central part of the autonomous community of Aragon. Its capital is the city of Zaragoza, which is also the capital of the autonomous community. Other towns in the province include La Almunia de Doña Godina, Borja, Calatayud, Caspe, Ejea de los Caballeros, Tarazona, and Utebo. Its area is 17,274 km², which makes it the fourth-largest Spanish province by land area. Its population was 954,811 in 2018, accounting for slightly over 72% of the entire population of Aragon; nearly 75% of those lived in the capital. Its population density was 51/km². The main language throughout the province is Spanish (with official status), although Catalan is spoken in the easternmost part (Bajo Aragón-Caspe comarca and Mequinenza municipality).

Zaragoza Comarca is a comarca in Aragon, Spain. It is located in the center of Zaragoza Province and includes Zaragoza metropolitan area.Zaragoza city gives its name to this comarca.

College of the Savior (Spanish: Colegio del Salvador, formerly Spanish: Jesus-Maria El Salvador Colegio de Zaragoza) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1879. It includes primary through baccalaureate.

The Battle of Saragossa (Spanish: Zaragoza) took place on 20 August 1710 between a Spanish Bourbon army commanded by the Marquis de Bay and a multinational army led by the Austrian commander Guido Starhemberg during the War of the Spanish Succession.

Estadio La Romareda [esˈtaðjo ðe la romaˈɾeða] is the home stadium of Real Zaragoza, in Zaragoza. It was inaugurated on 8 September 1957, with a game between Real Zaragoza and CA Osasuna (4–3). The official capacity is 33,608, with an average attendance of around 20,000 for Real Zaragoza matches. Currently, it is the 12th-largest stadium in Spain and the largest in Aragon. The stadium has gone through various upgrades, in 1977 and in 1982, when it was a 1982 FIFA World Cup venue. The stadium was also used for football group matches and a quarterfinal during the 1992 Summer Olympics. It became an all-seater stadium in 1994. The stadium also hosted the 1992-94 FIRA Trophy match between Spain and Romania in 1994. Plans to build a new stadium in Zaragoza have been abandoned. La Romareda was proposed as the Olympic Stadium in Jaca's failed bid for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Works for the enlargement of La Romareda into a 43,000-seat stadium were due to begin on April 17, 2006 and end in time for the Zaragoza Expo of 2008. However, a lawsuit was filed by a political party (PAR), claiming that the enlargement of the stadium would be to the detriment of the population, in order to suspend the planned works. A judge ordered the suspension and the works were put on hold.

The 1990 Clinic of Zaragoza radiotherapy accident was a radiological accident that occurred from 10 to 20 December 1990, at the Clinic of Zaragoza, in Aragon, Spain. In the accident, at least 27 patients were injured, and 11 of them died due to the overexposure, according to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). All of the injured were cancer patients receiving external beam radiotherapy.

The University of Zaragoza, sometimes referred to as Saragossa University (Spanish: Universidad de Zaragoza) is a public university with teaching campuses and research centres spread over the three provinces of Aragon, Spain. Founded in 1542, it is one of the oldest universities in Spain, with a history dating back to the Roman period. Prime Ministers Pascual Madoz, Manuel Azaña, Salustiano de Olózaga and Eusebio Bardají, the Nobel Prize laureate and father of modern neuroscience Santiago Ramón y Cajal, the catholic saint Josemaría Escrivá and the Cuban national hero Jose Marti studied at this University.
