Province of Zaragoza

Zaragoza is one of the 52 constituencies (Spanish: circunscripciones) represented in the Congress of Deputies, the lower chamber of the Spanish parliament, the Cortes Generales. The constituency currently elects seven deputies. Its boundaries correspond to those of the Spanish province of Zaragoza. The electoral system uses the D'Hondt method and a closed-list proportional representation, with a minimum threshold of three percent.

Zaragoza is one of the 59 constituencies (Spanish: circunscripciones) represented in the Senate of Spain, the upper chamber of the Spanish parliament, the Cortes Generales. The constituency elects four senators. Its boundaries correspond to those of the Spanish province of Zaragoza. The electoral system uses an open list partial block voting, with electors voting for individual candidates instead of parties. Electors can vote for up to three candidates.

Cadrete is a small town in north-east Spain, close to Zaragoza. It is notable for its Muslim castle, Mudejar Church and famous Cardoons. More recently, a massive wind-turbine has been installed at less than 300 metres away from the village, producing several landscape damages and high noise rates for town's inhabitants.

María de Huerva is a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2004 census the municipality has a population of 2,125 inhabitants. María de Huerva is named after the Huerva River.

The Ciudad Deportiva del Real Zaragoza is the training ground and academy base of the Spanish football club Real Zaragoza. It was opened in 1974 by the efforts of then-club president Jose Angel Zalba. It was designed by architect Julio Descartín. Located in Cuarte de Huerva 8 km south of Zaragoza and covering an area of 150,000 m², it is used for youth and senior teams trainings. Currently, the coordinator of the Ciudad Deportiva is Pedro Suñén.

Cuarte de Huerva is a municipality located in the province of Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. According to the 2013 census the municipality has a population of 11043 inhabitants. It is named after the Huerva River.

Zaragoza Airport (Aragonese and Spanish: Aeropuerto de Zaragoza; IATA: ZAZ, ICAO: LEZG) is an international airport near Zaragoza, Aragón, Spain. It is located 16 km (9.9 miles) west of Zaragoza, 270 km (170 miles) west of Barcelona, and 262 km (163 miles) northeast of Madrid. In addition to serving as a major cargo airport, it is also a commercial airport and, as Zaragoza Air Base, is the home of the Spanish Air and Space Force 15th Group.

Zaragoza Air Base (IATA: ZAZ, ICAO: LEZG) is a base of the Spanish Air and Space Force located near Zaragoza, Spain. It is located 16 kilometres (10 mi) west of Zaragoza, 270 km (168 mi) west of Barcelona, and 262 km (163 mi) northeast of Madrid. It shares infrastructure with the Zaragoza Airport. in the past, Zaragoza was also used as an emergency landing site for the United States's Space Shuttle. Between 1958 and 1992, Zaragoza Air Base was used by the United States Air Force, courtesy of the Pact of Madrid. In 1992, Malcolm Harvey robbed and murdered two Zaragoza women while serving at the air base.On 20 May 2023, an F-18 crashed during an air show at Zaragoza Air Base. The aircraft "erupted into a giant fireball", according to local news sources. The pilot ejected and was thought to be safe.

Zaragoza Comarca is a comarca in Aragon, Spain. It is located in the center of Zaragoza Province and includes Zaragoza metropolitan area.Zaragoza city gives its name to this comarca.

College of the Savior (Spanish: Colegio del Salvador, formerly Spanish: Jesus-Maria El Salvador Colegio de Zaragoza) is a private Catholic primary and secondary school located in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain. The school was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1879. It includes primary through baccalaureate.

Estadio La Romareda [esˈtaðjo ðe la romaˈɾeða] is the home stadium of Real Zaragoza, in Zaragoza. It was inaugurated on 8 September 1957, with a game between Real Zaragoza and CA Osasuna (4–3). The official capacity is 33,608, with an average attendance of around 20,000 for Real Zaragoza matches. Currently, it is the 12th-largest stadium in Spain and the largest in Aragon. The stadium has gone through various upgrades, in 1977 and in 1982, when it was a 1982 FIFA World Cup venue. The stadium was also used for football group matches and a quarterfinal during the 1992 Summer Olympics. It became an all-seater stadium in 1994. The stadium also hosted the 1992-94 FIRA Trophy match between Spain and Romania in 1994. Plans to build a new stadium in Zaragoza have been abandoned. La Romareda was proposed as the Olympic Stadium in Jaca's failed bid for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Works for the enlargement of La Romareda into a 43,000-seat stadium were due to begin on April 17, 2006 and end in time for the Zaragoza Expo of 2008. However, a lawsuit was filed by a political party (PAR), claiming that the enlargement of the stadium would be to the detriment of the population, in order to suspend the planned works. A judge ordered the suspension and the works were put on hold.
