Tour Granite

Société Générale Twin Towers are two office skyscrapers located in La Défense, a high-rise business district, and in Nanterre, France, west of Paris. Their exterior designs are identical. The towers were built and opened in 1995 to become the head office of the Société Générale, one of France's largest banking groups. Before the twin towers were constructed, Société Générale's headquarters were located in Paris.The roof and structural height of both towers is at 167 m (548 ft) above ground. The towers were the tallest skyscrapers built in La Défense since the Tour Total in 1985. The northern tower is named tour Alicante and the southern one tour Chassagne. In its interior design, Chassagne is decorated with white stone from the village of Chassagne in Auvergne, whereas Alicante is decorated with red marble from Alicante in Spain. Both towers share the same platform and stand about 40 m (130 ft) apart. The roofs of the towers are sharply inclined. Despite the large office space available in the current twin towers, Société Générale needed yet more space and so it launched the construction of a third skyscraper, the 183 m (600 ft) tall Tour Granite, which stands immediately behind the twin towers and was opened in 2008.

Tour Pacific (previously known as Tour Arcelor or Japan Tower) is an office skyscraper in Puteaux, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area. The Tower, which originally bore the name of Japan Tower, is one of the achievements of Christian Pellerin, who entrusted the design to the Kurokawa-Inoue duo in 1986.In May 2013, the Quebec group Ivanhoe-Cambridge, the real estate branch of the Caisse des Dépôts du Quebec, and owner of the tower, sold it for 215 million euros to an American group.

Tour Skylight is a residential skyscraper in Puteaux, in La Défense, the business district of the Paris metropolitan area. It does include shops and educational activities. Inaugurated on November 29, 2017 by Patrick Devedjian, the tower is 76.77 meters high.It notably hosts a campus of the IÉSEG School of Management.

The Tours Aillaud (also known as Tours Nuages) is a group of residential buildings located in Nanterre, in the inner suburbs of Paris, France. Built in 1976 at the outskirts of La Défense business district, the Tours Aillaud are named after their main architect, Emile Aillaud. The housing project represents 18 towers including 1,607 apartments all together. The tallest of those are the Tours 1 and 2 with 39 floors and a height of 105 meters. The Tours 3 to 10 have 20 floors and the Tours 11 to 18 have 13 floors. Despite the differences in height, the towers share the same shape, consisting of the superposition of several cylinders. Their cladding is made of frescos representing clouds in the sky (in French nuages), which is the origin of their nickname. The frescos in "pate de verre" were designed by Fabio Rieti, son-in-law of Emile Aillaud, while his daughter Laurence Rieti designed the large snake shaped sculpture that constitutes a large part of the playground area near the highest towers. Emile Aillaud noticeably looked after the outdoor area so that there would be one tree per apartment, and so that each apartment would have a designated tree (there were more than 1600 of them).

Tour Signal was a proposed skyscraper in La Défense and in Puteaux, France.

Paris La Défense Arena (originally known as the U Arena) is a multi-use domed stadium in Nanterre, a western suburb of Paris. Opened in October 2017, it was developed by the rugby union club Racing 92, and replaced Stade Olympique Yves-du-Manoir as their home field. It is one of the two multi-use domed stadiums to be built in Europe, along with Telenor Arena and is Europe’s largest indoor arena. Its naming rights are held by Paris La Défense, the management company of the nearby La Défense business district. The venue offers three separate configurations. In its rugby configuration, it has a nominal seating capacity of 30,681. For concerts, it is able to seat 40,000. Finally, a movable stand allows it to also be used for a variety of indoor sports, at various capacities, with a capacity of as low as 5,000 being possible. The venue also includes 33,000 square metres (360,000 sq ft) of office space, 300 student rooms, shops, including a club shop, a brewery and a gourmet restaurant. It is scheduled to host swimming at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Due to IOC sponsorship regulations, the venue will be referred to as Arena 92.

La Grande Arche de la Défense (French: [la ɡʁɑ̃d aʁʃ də la defɑ̃s]; "The Great Arch of the Defense"), originally called La Grande Arche de la Fraternité (French: [fʁatɛʁnite]; "Fraternity"), is a monument and building in the business district of La Défense and in the commune of Puteaux, to the west of Paris, France. It is usually known as the Arche de la Défense or simply as La Grande Arche. A 110-metre-high (360 ft) cube, La Grande Arche is part of the perspective from the Louvre to Arc de Triomphe, and was one of the Grands Projets of François Mitterrand. The distance from La Grande Arche to Arc de Triomphe is 4 km (2+1⁄2 miles).

Tour Hekla is a 220-meter (722 ft), 48-story skyscraper currently under construction in Puteaux, in the La Défense district of Paris, in France. It was designed by French architect Jean Nouvel. The building received its building permit in June 2016. Construction began in May 2018 for a delivery scheduled for early 2022. When completed, it will be the second-tallest building in France, only surpassed in height by the Tour First, the tallest tower in the La Défense district. The cost of the project is estimated to be 248 million euros.

The Tour Landscape (formerly IBM Europe tower, Pascal tower and DDE tower) is an office skyscraper located in the business district of La Défense, and precisely Place des Degres, Puteaux. In 2017, a modernization project is announced that will see the merger of the two towers (Tours Pascal) and the total height increased to 101 meters. The restructuring project started in the summer of 2017 with the new name Tour Landscape.

The Tour Sans Fins (“Endless Tower”) was a tower planned in La Défense that has since been cancelled. The spelling Tour Sans Fins may, to a native French-speaker, sound like a grammatical mistake as it would normally be written Tour Sans Fin without the ‘s’ at the end of fins. However, the idea was that this tower had no ends, even if one looked up or down at it, hence “ends” and not “end”.

Nanterre-La Folie station is a railway station in Nanterre, Hauts-de-Seine, France. Former it was a cargo station of SNCF. Today, passenger station is under construction and scheduled to open in 2023. It relates to the extension of RER E to Mantes-la-Jolie station. It is also scheduled in 2030 to open stations on lines 15, 17, and 18 in Grand Paris Express plan for Paris Métro. It will be connected with Nanterre-Préfecture station on the RER A by foot on the ground.

Nanterre-Préfecture is a RER train station in the commune of Nanterre, west of central Paris, in the department of Hauts-de-Seine in France. The station was opened on 1 October 1973, on the "ligne de St-Germain" connecting Auber and Saint-Germain. Currently, it is the westernmost station of the central section of RER A line. Line A splits here further to the west, into A1 (to Saint-Germain-en-Laye) and A3+A5 (to Cergy-le-Haut and Poissy).
