Darts Mills, New Jersey

Flemington Junction station is a defunct Lehigh Valley Railroad station in Flemington Junction, New Jersey. It was located at the junction of the Lehigh Valley's Flemington Branch and Main Line, although the name predated the opening of the branch by eight years. The Lehigh Valley Railroad, via its Easton and Amboy Railroad subsidiary, extended its main line east from Easton, Pennsylvania, to Jersey City, New Jersey, between 1872 and 1875. The extension officially opened on June 28, 1875. The location, which had passenger service but no passenger building, was then called Barton's Bridge. A stagecoach line carried passengers into Flemington, New Jersey proper. The company adopted the name "Flemington Junction" on April 16, 1876. A freight house opened later that year. A separate passenger building was not constructed until 1879–1882. The Flemington Branch, a 1.7-mile (2.7 km) line into Flemington, opened on August 4, 1884.As late as 1948 a gas-electric motor car made eleven round-trips per day between Flemington Junction and Flemington, but change was coming. Buses replaced the train over the branch in 1952; the buses themselves were withdrawn in 1957. The freight house was torn down in 1955 as business declined. Passenger service to Flemington Junction ended on February 4, 1961, with the end of all passenger service on the Lehigh Valley. The Lehigh Valley abandoned the building in 1963.The station building still stands and is a contributing property of the Raritan–Readington South Branch Historic District. The current building will be demolished by the end of 2019.

Barley Sheaf was an unincorporated community located within Readington Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It was named for the grain once grown in the region. The hamlet was on Barley Sheaf Road between County Route 629 (CR 629) and CR 523. The hamlet at one time housed a general store, a post office, blacksmith, creamery, a hotel and numerous farmsteads. Today only farms remain of the hamlet. The hamlet also carried the names of Farmersville and Campbellsville after Catherine Campbell, who ran the hotel in the area.

Diamond Nation is a 65-acre baseball complex in Flemington, New Jersey, that was established in 2009. It is home to Jack Cust Baseball Academy and Jennie Finch Softball Academy making itself a premier baseball and softball tournament and training center in the country. Diamond Nation currently has seven fields in total. Five of them are with ninety foot base paths, which can be converted into two little league fields each. The other two are seventy foot base paths. The New Jersey Diamond Jacks, which is run by Jack Cust Baseball Academy, was established as an elite 18U organization. The association has expanded to include teams from the 10U age to 18U.Multiple New Jersey high school baseball teams play games at Diamond Nation throughout the spring season.On 20 July 2012, Diamond Nation released Club Diamond Nation, which is a virtual baseball and softball training academy.In early 2014, Diamond Nation made proposals to build another complex in Fredericksburg, Virginia that would be home to Minor League Baseball team, Hagerstown Suns.

The Raritan–Readington South Branch Historic District is a 556-acre (225 ha) historic district along River Road from New Jersey Route 31 to U.S. Route 202 near Flemington in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It is primarily on the western side of the South Branch Raritan River in Raritan Township. It extends onto the eastern side of the river in Readington Township. County Route 523 and County Route 612 pass through the district to the north. The district encompasses the small settlements of Holcomb Mills, Flemington Junction, and Rockefellows Mills. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 26, 1990, for its significance in architecture, politics, transportation, and exploration/settlement. The district includes 36 contributing buildings, four contributing structures, and three contributing sites. It also includes the John Reading Farmstead, previously listed on the NRHP individually.

The John Reading Farmstead is a historic house located at 76 River Road by the South Branch Raritan River in Raritan Township, near Flemington in Hunterdon County, New Jersey. It was built in 1760 for John Reading, former governor of the Province of New Jersey, 1757–1758. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1978, for its significance in agriculture, architecture, politics, and exploration/settlement.

The Hunterdon County Polytech Career Academy is a vocational public high school that offers technical and career training to students in Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States, operating as part of the Hunterdon County Vocational School District. The school is situated at two separate facilities in Raritan Township, the Bartles Corner Campus located off of Bartles Corner Road and the Central Campus located next to the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Field House.

The Hunterdon County Vocational School District is a technical and vocational public school district serving students in ninth through twelfth grades and adult learners, located in Flemington, and serving the entire Hunterdon County, New Jersey, United States community. Students attend the district's school on a half-day basis for specialized training in 11 core program areas, starting in their sophomore year. Most standard academic courses are taken at the student's home high school.As of the 2017-18 school year, the district and its three schools had an enrollment of 140 students and 17.5 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 8.0:1.

The Rockafellows Mill Bridge is a one-lane Pratt thru truss bridge that carries Rockafellows Mill Road over the South Branch Raritan River in Rockefellows Mills, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places on January 26, 1990, as part of the Raritan–Readington South Branch Historic District.

Flemington Speedway was a motor racing circuit in Flemington, New Jersey which operated from 1915 to 2002. The track was once known for being the fastest 5/8 dirt track in the United States.

Rockefellows Mills (also spelled Rockafellows Mills) is an unincorporated community located within Raritan Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The settlement is located along the South Branch Raritan River near Three Bridges. The river is spanned in the area by the historic Rockafellows Mill Bridge built in 1900 and part of the Raritan–Readington South Branch Historic District. Most of the area within the Raritan Township side of the river is forested however on the north side of the river in Readington Township, some farmland dots the area.

Northlandz is a model railroad layout and museum located near Flemington, New Jersey, built by Bruce Williams Zaccagnino.

Rowland's Mills or Rowland Mills is an unincorporated community located on the western edge of Readington Township in Hunterdon County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. In 1760, a gristmill was erected at this site, followed by a sawmill around the time of the American Revolutionary War. A hamlet grew up around the mill complex in the early 19th century along the road connecting Flemington and Clinton. In 1838, Rynear Rowland (1798-1862), whom the village was later named after, purchased the mills. At its peak the settlement had a store, a blacksmith shop owned by Oliver Hart Ewing and numerous houses. In the later part of the 19th century the community diminished in size and was all but abandoned in the 1920s when the road through it was widened and designated as State Route 30, the predecessor of modern New Jersey Route 31. The Norfolk Southern Railway's Lehigh Line (formerly the mainline of the Lehigh Valley Railroad), runs through the community.
