Hjorthagen Church

Ropsten metro station is the end station on line 13 on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Ropsten. The station was opened on 2 September 1967 as the northeastern terminus of the extension from Östermalmstorg.The station was sited about 10–15 meters above street level as a preparation for an extension to Lidingö on a new bridge. There are now no plans for such an extension and the lines end in mid-air. The Ropsten station also includes the end stop on the Lidingöbanan tramway, a few meters about the street. On street level there are many bus stops for buses towards Lidingö.

Ropsten is a cape at the eastern part of Stockholm mainland at the inner part of Stockholm archipelago in Sweden. Two bridges named Lidingöbron extend from Ropsten over to the island of Lidingö. Ropsten area is located between Hjorthagen and the Stockholm city main port Värtahamnen. Ropsten is the terminal station for the eastern part of Stockholm Metro system and is also the terminal station for Lidingöbanan, the railway for public transportation, covering the area of Lidingö.

Värtahamnen is a port in Stockholm, Sweden. Värtahamnen and the adjacent Stockholm Free Port at Lilla Värtan is Stockholm's main port. Värtahamnen primarily serves passenger ferries for the shipping company Silja Line as well as freighters for Tallink operating in Åland and Estonia. The port also services the SeaWind Line and the coal/biofuel power plant in Hjorthagen. Värtahamnen is located in the Gärdet and Hjorthagen districts. The structure was built in 1879-1886 after the city bought land in order to create a port for coal and other bulk goods. Rail freight and passenger traffic were routed through the Värtabanan line when the Värtan station was inaugurated in 1882. The port was widened and deepened gradually during the early 1900s, and in 1903 the nearby coal-fired Värtaverket plant was inaugurated. In 1904, a municipal building was added which served as the customs and port offices.

Gärdet Metro Station is a station on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Ladugårdsgärdet. The station was opened on 2 September 1967 as part of the extension from Östermalmstorg to Ropsten.

Hjorthagens IP is a sports ground in Stockholm, Sweden. It has been used by Djurgårdens IF FF as practice ground; by the Djurgårdens IF handicap football association; and by Värtans IK. In winter it serves as an ice skating rink.On 6 October 2012 three soccer fields using artificial turf were opened.

Hjorthagen is a district in the northeastern part of central Stockholm, located near Ropsten and Lidingöbron. Since 1997, Hjorthagen has been part of Östermalm district.

Lidingöbron (Swedish: "The Lidingö Bridge") is the name of two existing and two historical bridges across the strait of Lilla Värtan between the mainland Norra Djurgården at Ropsten, at the eastern part of Stockholm, and the island of Lidingö.

The Stockholm Open (currently sponsored by Intrum) is an indoor tennis event on the ATP Tour played at the Kungliga tennishallen in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament is owned by The Royal Lawn Tennis Club of Stockholm, SALK (Stockholm Public Lawn Tennis Club) and Tennis Stockholm. The first Stockholm Open was held in 1969 and it has been played each year ever since, except for 2020 when it was cancelled due to the corona pandemic. The tournament is played on indoor hard-court and features both men's singles and doubles tournament. The event was held on carpet courts in 1975, 1979, and 1980 as a short-lived women's competition, as well as in 1989 and 1990. Originally played in November, the tournament was moved to October in 2001.

Kungliga tennishallen (English: Royal Tennis Hall) is a tennis venue at Lidingövägen 75 in Stockholm, Sweden. The stadium was built in October 1943 and has a capacity of 5,000. Kungliga tennishallen, now a hard-court surface, remains the venue for the men's Stockholm Open tournament which was first held in 1969. In 1975 the venue was the host of the year-end Masters tennis tournament as well as the Davis Cup final between Sweden and Czechoslovakia.

The Scandic Hotel Ariadne is located at Värtahamnen in Stockholm, Sweden. It was built in 1989 and is 62 m tall and includes 17 floors and 283 rooms.

Gasklockan is a planned skyscraper, located in Norra Djurgårdsstaden district of Stockholm, Sweden. Originally scheduled to open in 2018–2019, the tower has been delayed indefinitely and its original height of 140 m (460 ft) has been revised to 110 m (360 ft) and 28 floors. The complex is designed by the Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, commissioned by the Swedish developer Oscar Properties, and would contain approximately 320 residential units. Ground breaking was planned first quarter 2016.In November 2019 the City of Stockholm announced that the agreement with Oscar Properties had been cancelled due to arrears with payment of the purchase price of the ground.

The Military Archives of Sweden (Swedish: Krigsarkivet) is the part of the National Archives of Sweden that keeps archives related to agencies that answer to the Ministry of Defence. The Military Archives were established in 1805 and contain listings of military personnel, drawings and descriptions of military buildings and equipment, maps, private files of key persons in Swedish military history, and photographs. The archived materials date from the 16th century to the present. Since 1995, the Military Archives form a part of the government agency National Archives of Sweden.
