Hjorthagens IP is a sports ground in Stockholm, Sweden. It has been used by Djurgårdens IF FF as practice ground; by the Djurgårdens IF handicap football association; and by Värtans IK. In winter it serves as an ice skating rink.On 6 October 2012 three soccer fields using artificial turf were opened.

Hjorthagen is a district in the northeastern part of central Stockholm, located near Ropsten and Lidingöbron. Since 1997, Hjorthagen has been part of Östermalm district.

Fältrittklubben (more specifically Stockholms fältrittklubb) or the Stockholm Cross Country Riding Club is an equestrian club located in Stockholm, Sweden, established in 1886 by Prince Carl, Duke of Västergötland. During the 1912 Summer Olympics, it hosted the endurance trials for the equestrian eventing competition.

The Stockholm Open (currently sponsored by Intrum) is an indoor tennis event on the ATP Tour played at the Kungliga tennishallen in Stockholm, Sweden. The tournament is owned by The Royal Lawn Tennis Club of Stockholm, SALK (Stockholm Public Lawn Tennis Club) and Tennis Stockholm. The first Stockholm Open was held in 1969 and it has been played each year ever since, except for 2020 when it was cancelled due to the corona pandemic. The tournament is played on indoor hard-court and features both men's singles and doubles tournament. The event was held on carpet courts in 1975, 1979, and 1980 as a short-lived women's competition, as well as in 1989 and 1990. Originally played in November, the tournament was moved to October in 2001.

Kungliga tennishallen (English: Royal Tennis Hall) is a tennis venue at Lidingövägen 75 in Stockholm, Sweden. The stadium was built in October 1943 and has a capacity of 5,000. Kungliga tennishallen, now a hard-court surface, remains the venue for the men's Stockholm Open tournament which was first held in 1969. In 1975 the venue was the host of the year-end Masters tennis tournament as well as the Davis Cup final between Sweden and Czechoslovakia.

Lillsjön (Swedish: Small Lake) is a small, former lake in Norra Djurgården, a semi-rural area in north-eastern central Stockholm, Sweden, forming part of the Royal National City Park. Today transformed into a wetland, it is often mentioned as one of the six lakes in the area, the other being: Laduviken, Uggleviken, Isbladskärret, Lappkärret, and Spegeldammen. Lillsjön used to be connected to other lakes in the area through narrow straits. Through a project sponsored by the World Wide Fund for Nature, water was pumped into the small basin reinforced by new embankments. Reed was also burnt away, and the former lake thus transformed into a shore meadow attracting many birds, starting with northern lapwings in March, followed by common snipes later in spring. In autumn, many birds rest here on their way south, such as wood sandpipers, common redshanks, greenshanks, and ruffs. A striking feature at Lillsjön are the Highland cattle residing there from May to October. Not only do they attract many Stockholmers of all ages, they also affect the local fauna as they eat reed and tufted hair-grass, thus preventing these species from taking over the area – and thereby allowing space to flowers such as cowslips and bitter vetch, as well as birds and insects attracted by water.

Military Intelligence and Security Service (Swedish: Militära underrättelse- och säkerhetstjänsten, MUST) is a division of the Swedish Armed Forces Central Command. MUST is both a foreign intelligence and a military security/counterintelligence agency. In its intelligence role, MUST is responsible for providing intelligence on foreign threats to the Government of Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces. However, signals intelligence is handled by a separate civilian agency operated by the Ministry of Defence, the Swedish National Defence Radio Establishment (FRA), which is not part of MUST. MUST is legally prohibited from gathering intelligence on Swedish domestic affairs, except in its more narrowly defined role a counter-intelligence agency tasked with identifying threats to the armed forces, such as sabotage, espionage, or infiltration. Domestic security and civilian counterintelligence in a non-military setting are handled by the Swedish Security Service (SÄPO), a civilian agency unaffiliated to MUST.

The Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters (Swedish: Högkvarteret, HKV) is the highest level of command in the Swedish Armed Forces. Established in 1994, its primary task is to command operations, but is also involved in areas such as military strategy, the overall development of the Swedish Armed Forces, and acting as a channel of contact with government. It's located at Lidingövägen 24 at Gärdet in Stockholm.

Östermalms IP is a sports ground located in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. Completed in 1906, the facility played host to several sports during the 1912 Summer Olympics. These sports included equestrian, fencing (including the part for the modern pentathlon), and tennis. It also hosted the exhibition for baseball at those same games. Current tenants are the bandy department of Djurgårdens IF, the youth program of the said club's football department and several lower league teams. The athletic grounds also hosts a speed skating rink during winter. The ice hockey rink was completed for the 1926–1927 season.

Ropsten metro station is the end station on line 13 on the red line of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Ropsten. The station was opened on 2 September 1967 as the northeastern terminus of the extension from Östermalmstorg.The station was sited about 10–15 meters above street level as a preparation for an extension to Lidingö on a new bridge. There are now no plans for such an extension and the lines end in mid-air. The Ropsten station also includes the end stop on the Lidingöbanan tramway, a few meters about the street. On street level there are many bus stops for buses towards Lidingö.

Uggleviksreservoaren (Swedish: The "Uggleviken Reservoir") is a water reservoir located in the forest Lilljansskogen near Uggleviken, a fen at Norra Djurgården in north-eastern central Stockholm, Sweden. The concrete structure, design by architect Paul Hedqvist and built in 1935, is composed of 64 pillars, each of 1×1 metre cross section and 14 metres tall, carrying the uninsulated tank of 78×39×6 metres, containing 18 thousand cubic metres, crowned by a small lantern. One of the most prominent landmarks in central Stockholm observable from elevated locations kilometres away, the classical structure has a monumentality further amplified by its elevated location in a forest remote from any other buildings. It is one of few remaining, visible traces of the ambitious municipal projects carried through in the early 20th century, still witnessing the restraints and possibilities of casting techniques anticipating pre-stressed concrete and slipform constructions.

Lilla Skuggan is an area in Djurgården, Stockholm. On a promontory which was previously known as Roslagsudden, it was developed in the late 18th century by Helena Quiding, who spent summers in the main house, which she called Heleneberg. Quiding was a friend of poet Carl Michael Bellman, and Heleneberg is frequently mentioned in his poems and songs.The main house at Lilla Skuggan was later home to the architects Axel Nyström and Fredrik Wilhelm Scholander, the artist Julius Kronberg, and the financier Ivar Kreuger, who also owned the nearby Villa Ugglebo, a house which was built in the late 19th century by the architect Ferdinand Boberg and his wife, the artist Anna Boberg, and after them was the summer residence of the crown prince, the later King Gustaf VI Adolf. Lilla Skuggen is included in the Royal National City Park, and includes three houses, all of which are historic monuments, and a boathouse.
