The Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts (SADA) (Swedish: Stockholms dramatiska högskola) was a school within the Stockholm University of the Arts that offers a University Diploma in Performing Arts and Media. SADA was Sweden’s largest school of film, radio, television and theatre.On January 1, 2011 SADA was formed via the merger of the Swedish Institute of Dramatic Art and the Teaterhögskolan i Stockholm (Swedish National Academy of Dramatic Arts/Stockholm Academy. In 2014, SADA became part of Stockholm University of the Arts, and the previous name is now no longer in use.The diploma programmes consisted of three years of full-time studies leading to a bachelor's degree. Courses provided practical production and team-exercises. The programmes concentrated mainly on practical work, but also included theory. Continual contact with professionals and professional work was maintained by means of guest lecturers, study visits, and co-productions with other institutions, film companies, radio teams, and theatres. SADA also offered postgraduate courses, as well as shorter courses for professionals already working within the field of theatre and media.

The Swedish Institute of Dramatic Art (Swedish: Dramatiska Institutet, DI), also called the University College of Film, Radio, Television and Theatre was a Swedish university college in Stockholm that provided education programs about activities surrounding film, radio, television, and theater. It was founded in 1970 by the Swedish government. Many famous media personalities and others in the film industry have studied at Dramatiska Institutet, including Anna Asp, Lene Berg, Josef Fares, Mark Levengood, Stina Lundberg Dabrowski, Anders Lundin, Lukas Moodysson, Kjell Sundvall, and Lisa Siwe. On January 1, 2011 the school merged with the Swedish National Academy of Mime and Acting to become Stockholm Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Gärdet is a part of Stockholm, east and northeast of Östermalm. Its official name is Ladugårdsgärdet. It is renowned for its large number of modernist apartments. Gärdet is one of the largest residential districts built in Stockholm during the 1930s, built from 1929 until around 1950, and houses about 10,000 people. The district includes a vast open space used for recreational purposes; the name Gärdet ("the field") often refers to this area specifically. During the summer semester, there are several different events on "the field" such as circus, music and sports and more. All the buildings around Tessinparken were built between 1932 and 1937.

Radio Sweden (Swedish: Sveriges Radio International) is Sweden's official international broadcasting station. It is a non-commercial and politically independent public service broadcasting company.

Sveriges Radio AB (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈsvæ̌rjɛs ˈrɑ̌ːdɪʊ], "Sweden's Radio") is Sweden's national publicly funded radio broadcaster. Sveriges Radio is a public limited company, owned by an independent foundation, previously funded through a licensing fee, the level of which is decided by the Swedish Riksdag. As of 1 January 2019, the funds stem from standard taxation. No advertising is permitted. Its legal status could be described as that of a quasi-autonomous non-governmental organization.

Radiohuset ("the radio house") in Östermalm, Stockholm, is the main headquarters building of Sveriges Radio (SR). Located on Oxstiernsgatan in the Förrådsbacken district, it stands next to Sveriges Television's TV-huset and close to Filmhuset, the headquarters of the Swedish Film Institute. Also nearby is the popular open-air recreational area known as Gärdet. Programmes produced at Radiohuset are broadcast throughout Sweden on SR's four national radio channels, P1, P2, P3, and P4, and also feature in the multi-lingual output of SR International – Radio Sweden (P6). In 2008, SR's local station in the capital, Radio Stockholm (today with two channels, known as P4 Radio Stockholm and P5 STHLM), moved to Radiohuset from its previously separate studios in Kungsholmen. The building was first planned in 1955, to designs prepared by the architects Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström. Construction work began in 1958 and the official opening took place on 22 September 1962.

The Military Archives of Sweden (Swedish: Krigsarkivet) is the part of the National Archives of Sweden that keeps archives related to agencies that answer to the Ministry of Defence. The Military Archives were established in 1805 and contain listings of military personnel, drawings and descriptions of military buildings and equipment, maps, private files of key persons in Swedish military history, and photographs. The archived materials date from the 16th century to the present. Since 1995, the Military Archives form a part of the government agency National Archives of Sweden.

The Berwald Hall (Swedish: Berwaldhallen) is a concert hall situated in a park landscape at Dag Hammarskjölds väg 3 in the Östermalm district of Stockholm, Sweden. Construction on the building began in 1976 based on a design by architects Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström. The hall is shaped as a hexagon.The seating is 1,302 places, of which 482 are in the stalls. The hall won a Europa Nostra architecture award as an "admirably sensitive designed concert hall".

Lindarängen is a location outside Stockholm, Sweden. During the 1912 Summer Olympics, it hosted the steeplechase trials for the equestrian eventing competition. Between 1921 and 1952 Lindarängen also hosted Stockholm's water airport for seaplanes.

The Swedish Film Institute (Swedish: Svenska Filminstitutet) was founded in 1963 to support and develop the Swedish film industry. The institute is housed in the Filmhuset building located in Gärdet, Östermalm in Stockholm. The building, completed in 1970, was designed by architect Peter Celsing.

Oscar Parish (Swedish: Oscars församling) is a parish in Östermalm's church district (kontrakt) in the Diocese of Stockholm, Sweden. The parish is located in Stockholm Municipality in Stockholm County. The parish forms its own pastorship.

Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company (Swedish: Sveriges Utbildningsradio or Utbildningsradion, UR) is a public-service corporation dedicated to serving the needs of the Swedish general public by providing educational programming on radio and television.The company is a member of the European Broadcasting Union and Nordvision.
