Naval Air Facility Atsugi (厚木海軍飛行場, Atsugi Kaigun-hikōjō) (IATA: NJA, ICAO: RJTA) is a joint Japan-US naval air base located in the cities of Yamato and Ayase in Kanagawa, Japan. It is the largest United States Navy (USN) air base in the Pacific Ocean and once housed the squadrons of Carrier Air Wing Five (CVW-5), which deploys with the American aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan.During 2017 and 2018 the fixed-wing aircraft of CVW-5 relocated to Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni in western Japan. CVW-5 shares the base with the Headquarters Fleet Air Force and Fleet Air Wing 4 of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF). NAF Atsugi is also home to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron 51 (HSM-51), which provides detachments of MH-60R helicopters to forward deployed U.S. Navy guided missile cruisers, guided missile destroyers and frigates homeported at the nearby Yokosuka Naval Base. Service members stationed at Atsugi also work in conjunction with the former Kamiseya Naval Radio Receiving Facility. Despite its name, the base is 4 nautical miles (7.4 km; 4.6 mi) east northeast from the city of Atsugi, and is not adjacent to the city.

The Sagami Kokubun-ji (相模国分寺) is a Buddhist temple in the city of Ebina, Kanagawa, Japan. It is the provincial temple ("kokubunji") of former Sagami Province. The grounds of the temple are a National Historic Site. and its Kamakura period Bonshō is an Important Cultural Property. The temple was destroyed and rebuilt several times over its long history, and much of its documentary history has been lost. It now belongs to the Kōyasan Shingon-shū sect.

Keio University Shonan Fujisawa Campus (慶應義塾大学湘南藤沢キャンパス, Keio Gijuku Daigaku Shonan-Fujisawa kanpasu), also known as “Keio SFC” is a research-oriented campus of Keio University located in the city of Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The campus currently offers three undergraduate courses and two postgraduate courses, and incorporates one high school and several research institutes. Keio Shonan-Fujisawa Junior & Senior High School (慶應義塾湘南藤沢中・高等部, Keiō Gijuku Shōnan Fujisawa Chū Kōtōbu) is located on the Shonan Fujisawa Campus of Keio University in Fujisawa, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. Since its founding in 1992, the school has been commonly known as Keio SFC, or simply SFC. It is one of the prestigious private secondary schools in the Tokyo area, due to its rich curriculum and environment. The overwhelming majority (99%) of its students advance to Keio University. In 2006, for example, out of 237 students who entered the senior or final year, 232 were admitted to the various campuses of Keio University.
