Castlewood is a neighborhood in the City of Centennial, Colorado. A former census-designated place (CDP), the population was 25,567 at the 2000 census. It has been a part of the City of Centennial since the city's incorporation in 2001.

Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre (formerly Comfort Dental Amphitheatre and Coors Amphitheatre) is an 18,000-person capacity amphitheatre located in Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States. It is the largest outdoor amphitheatre in the Denver metropolitan area and is generally open every year from May to September.

Rachel Joy Scott (August 5, 1981 – April 20, 1999) was an American student who was the first fatality of the Columbine High School massacre, in which 11 other students and a teacher were also murdered by Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, who then died by suicide. Scott's belief in Christianity and the circumstances of her death have led to her being remembered by groups of evangelical Christians as a Christian martyr. She was posthumously the subject and co-writer of several books and the inspiration for Rachel's Challenge, an international school outreach program and the most popular school assembly program in the U.S.The aim of Rachel's Challenge is to advocate Scott's values, based on her life, her journals, and the contents of a two-page essay, penned a month before her murder, entitled My Ethics; My Codes of Life. This essay advocates her belief in compassion being "the greatest form of love humans have to offer".

Platt College is a private, for-profit college in Aurora, Colorado. Platt College currently offers only one degree program, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 3 years. Platt College graduates are awarded a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. It is served by the E and R Lines, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and was opened on November 17, 2006. In addition to numerous office buildings and corporate campuses, the station is the destination for people attending concerts at the Fiddler's Green Amphitheatre. The station also serves as the terminus for the SkyRide AT bus route, with service to Denver International Airport, and is also served by the Bustang Denver Technology Center (DTC) service. The station features a public art installation of a trio of sculptures entitled Nucleus. It was created by Michael Clapper and dedicated in 2010.

Orchard station is an light rail station in Greenwood Village, Colorado, United States. It is served by the E and R Lines, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and was opened on November 17, 2006. The station features a public art installation of stamped concrete illustrating magnified apple leaves and stainless steel birds entitled Orchard Memory. It was created by Wopo Holup and dedicated in 2006.

Other subsidiaries offered locomotive and freight car leasing to its own railroads and to third parties, and also freight car cleaning. Pioneer Lines also had interests in real estate and newsletter publishing. It was previously owned by BRX Transportation Holdings starting in 2019.The company, originally named Pioneer Railroad Company, was founded on January 30, 1986 by Guy L. Brenkman. The company raised the capital for its first acquisition through a self-underwritten public stock offering. It continued this method of raising capital for subsequent acquisitions. Almost all of the short lines owned by Pioneer are lines spun off by Class I railroads. On August 8, 2022 Patriot Rail Company announced its intention to acquire Pioneer Lines. The company was acquired by Patriot Rail on September 14, 2022.

The CDP is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population of the Acres Green CDP was 2,922 at the 2020 United States Census. The community lies in ZIP Code 80124.

Belleview station is an light rail station in Denver, Colorado, United States. It is served by the E and R Lines, operated by the Regional Transportation District (RTD), and was opened on November 17, 2006. This is the primary station serving the Denver Technological Center. The station features a public art installation of a geometric pattern of roadway reflectors entitled Thunder over the Rockies through its pedestrian tunnel. It was created by Richard Elliott and dedicated in 2006.
