Southglenn is a neighborhood in the City of Centennial, Colorado. A former census-designated place (CDP), the population was 43,520 at the 2000 census.

The Curtis School at 2349 E. Orchard Rd. in Greenwood Village, Colorado was built in 1914. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. It served as a school and as a meeting hall.It is a one-story red brick schoolhouse with a central bell tower, and is the oldest public building in Greenwood Village.The building was moved about 300 feet (91 m) west to its current location in 1987, and it was then renovated for use as a "community art and history center".

Southglenn Mall was a mid-size shopping center located on South University Boulevard in Centennial, Colorado, at the southwest corner of Arapahoe Road and University Boulevard. The center opened in 1974 and was closed from 2006 to August 2009 to make way for The Streets at SouthGlenn, a mixed-use redevelopment project.

Arapahoe High School is a public high school in Centennial, Colorado, United States. Located in a suburb of Denver, it is the flagship of the Littleton Public Schools District as the largest of three high schools, with an enrollment of 2,229 students. It has been designated a Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. The school is known for its affiliation with the Arapaho tribe of Wind River, Wyoming.

Englewood Dam was constructed as a Works Progress Administration project in 1936. It is located on Willow Creek approximately 9 mi (14 km) upstream from Englewood in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The project serves as a flood retention dam to control of about 11 sq mi (28 km2) of the 11 sq mi (28 km2) drainage area of the Little Dry Creek basin. Storage capacity is approximately 1,485 acre⋅ft (1,832,000 m3) at the spillway crest but the reservoir is dry most of the year.It was purchased by the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District in 1973 who carried out improvements on it until 1975. The dam is located in the Willow Spring Open Space in Centennial, Colorado which is part of the South Suburban Park and Recreation District.

Kent Denver School is a private, co-educational, non-sectarian college preparatory high school and middle school in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. It traces its origin back to the 1922 founding of the Kent School for Girls and has existed as a co-educational institution since 1974. The Kent School for Girls was founded by Mary Austin Bogue, Mary Louise Rathvon and Mary Kent Wallace on Sherman Street in Denver in 1922. Denver Country Day School, an all-men's high school, was founded by Andrews D. Black and Tom Chaffee in 1953, and the two schools relocated to a portion of the spacious Blackmer Farm in Cherry Hills Village in the 1960s. The schools operated side-by-side and with joint science classes until they merged in 1974 to become Kent Denver School.

St. Mary's Academy (SMA) is a Catholic, independent day school in the Loretto tradition located in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. Founded by the Sisters of Loretto in 1864, St. Mary's Academy educates boys and girls. St. Mary's Academy is composed of a co-ed Lower School (co-ed Preschool through Grade 5) and Middle School (co-ed Grades 6-8), and continues its tradition as a college preparatory high school for girls (Grades 9-12). The U.S. Department of Education has honored St. Mary's Academy three times as a School of Excellence (a program initially titled Blue Ribbon Schools). St. Mary's Academy High School offers 26 AP courses.

The City of Cherry Hills Village is a home rule municipality located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, United States. The city population was 6,442 at the 2020 United States Census. Cherry Hills Village is a part of the Denver–Aurora–Lakewood, CO Metropolitan Statistical Area and the Front Range Urban Corridor. The city hosted two PGA Championships (1941 and 1985) and the 2005 U.S. Women's Open at the Cherry Hills Country Club. The community was named for a grove of cherry trees near the original town site. On April 16, 2019, the city council voted to rename the 111-year old Swastika Acres subdivision (a common Southwestern and Native American symbol at the time which also pre-dated Nazi usage) as "Old Cherry Hills".

The Hopkins Farm is a home located at 4400 East Quincy Avenue in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. The home is a 1+1⁄2-story house that is surrounded by a 1930s agricultural area and additional buildings. The farm was one of many dairy operations in the area.

Littleton High School is a public high school located in Littleton, Colorado, United States. It is a part of the Littleton Public Schools school district.
