Borgheim

Nøtterøy Church (Norwegian: Nøtterøy kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Færder Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Borgheim. It is one of the churches for the Nøtterøy parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The white, stone church was originally built with a long church design around the year 1100 using plans drawn up by an unknown architect. The church seats about 500 people.

Vestskogen is an area on the island of Nøtterøy, in Nøtterøy municipality, Norway. It is located on the north-eastern side of the island and forms part of the urban area of Tønsberg. Vestskogen has 1847 inhabitants (2010).

The statistical area Vollen, which also can include the peripheral parts of the village as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of 674.The village Vollen is located between Hårkollen in the southeast and Borgheim in the northwest. It is considered a part of the urban settlement Tønsberg, which covers the greater Tønsberg city area as well as the northern and eastern parts of Nøtterøy. The urban settlement Tønsberg has a population of 45,447, of which 15,818 people live within Nøtterøy.

Nøtterøy is an island and a former municipality in the present-day municipality of Færder in Vestfold and Telemark county, Norway. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Borgheim. The parish of Nøtterø was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). Two islands were later transferred from the municipality of Stokke to Nøtterøy: Håøya (in 1901) and Veierland (in 1964). The whole municipality was made up of a small island group south of Tønsberg municipality, including the islands of Nøtterøy, Føynland, Veierland, and about 175 smaller islands. Nøtterøy includes the villages of Borgheim, Glomstein, Teie, and Torød. As 2010, 16,418 of the municipality lived within the town of Tønsberg, an urban area shared between the two municipalities.It is the largest island in Vestfold County. The highest point on Nøtterøy Island is Vetan with an elevation of 99.7 meters. The mountain has been operated by the Norwegian Armed Forces since 1897. The military currently operates a radio station at Vetan.

Teie Church (Norwegian: Teie kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Færder Municipality in Vestfold county, Norway. It is located in the village of Teie. It is the church for the Teie parish which is part of the Tønsberg domprosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Tunsberg. The red brick church was built in a rectangular design in 1977 using plans drawn up by the architect Elisabeth Breen Fidjestøl. The church seats about 520 people.

Teie is a part of the urban area of Tønsberg, located on the island of Nøtterøy, as well as in Nøtterøy municipality, Norway. It is located at the northern end of the island, near Vestskogen. The newspaper Øyene has been published in Teie since 1999.

Nøtterøy is the largest island in Vestfold county, Norway. The 44-square-kilometre (17 sq mi) island is mostly located in Færder Municipality, but a small area on the far northern shore belongs to Tønsberg Municipality. The island is between the Ytre Oslofjord (to the east) and the Tønsbergfjorden (to the west). Most of the northern part of the island is considered part of the city of Tønsberg metropolitan area which spans parts of Tønsberg and Færder municipalities. Historically, the island was part of the old Nøtterøy Municipality which existed from 1838 until 1 January 2018 when it became part of Færder Municipality.

It is considered a part of the urban settlement Tønsberg, which covers the greater Tønsberg city area as well as the northern and eastern part of Nøtterøy. The urban settlement Tønsberg has a population of 45,447, of which 15,818 people live within Nøtterøy.

St. Olav's Abbey, Tønsberg (Norwegian: Olavsklosteret i Tønsberg) was a Premonstratensian monastery, located in Tønsberg, Norway.

Signaturen is a residential high-rise building in Tønsberg city, Norway. The building is situated in Kaldnes on the northernmost part of the island Nøtterøy in Tønsberg municipality. At 43 metres (141 ft) tall, it is Vestfold county's tallest building.The building is owned by the Norwegian residential property developer Selvaag Bolig and completed in early 2019, but was opened for new residents already in December 2018. The construction started in 2017. The residential building has 13 floors and 23 apartments. The top floor can be reached by either stairs or a high-speed Kone traction elevator. The tower has a neo-futuristic architectural style.
