Scientia Secondary School (Chinese: 創知中學) is a secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was formerly called Workers' Children Secondary School (Chinese: 勞工子弟中學) and, before that, Mongkok Workers' Children School (Chinese: 旺角勞工子弟學校).

New Method College (abbreviated to NMC) was a secondary school located in Kowloon City, Hong Kong. Its stated mission was "to recognize each student as an individual". It was the fourth school of the same name, with the first one built in 1951 on Hong Kong Island. It was also the first school to participate in the Direct Subsidy Scheme. It was announced that the school would close in 2012 due to a chronic decrease in enrollments. The former campus at 25 Man Fuk Road now houses Stamford American School Hong Kong. The college had a small pool of notable alumni who have made their names in politics and the entertainment industry.

The Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT, Chinese: 香港專業進修學校) is a private vocational college in Hong Kong that provides a range of sub-degree programmes. It was founded on 1 August 1957 as the Mong Kok Workers' Night School. A subsidiary established in 2014, HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE), is legally able to award degrees.

The Kowloon Public Library (Chinese: 九龍公共圖書館) is a public library located in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. It was previously known as the Kowloon Central Library (Chinese: 九龍中央圖書館). It is managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD), and is one of the major public libraries in Hong Kong. The 12-storey building comprises about 4,000 square metres (43,000 sq ft) of floor space.

Argyle Street is a four-lane dual-way thoroughfare in Kowloon, Hong Kong, connecting the districts of Mong Kok, Ho Man Tin, Ma Tau Wai and Kowloon City. It runs on an east-west alignment starting at its intersection with Cherry Street, Ferry Street and Tong Mi Road in the west, and ending near the former Kai Tak Airport in the east. Due to the street's proximity with the latter, a variety of aircraft could be seen from this street and thus photographers (and movie makers) seized the opportunity to capture landing aircraft. The street was named after a British merchant ship called Argyle, which sailed between India and southern China in the early 19th Century.

Pui Ching Middle School (Chinese: 香港培正中學) is a Baptist secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. Founded in 1889, it currently has sister schools in Macau and Guangzhou.

St. Teresa Secondary School (Chinese: 德蘭中學) is a Roman Catholic girls secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is directly governed by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The school's patroness is St. Teresa of Lisieux, since the school is located at the same district, Kowloon City District, as St. Teresa's Church in Hong Kong.

Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School (Chinese: 旅港開平商會中學, abbr. HPCCSS) is a Band 1 EMI secondary school located in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon Hong Kong. Hoi Ping is also well known for its school athletic team which ranked third in the Hong Kong Inter-School Athletics Competition.

Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) is a university in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. Established as the Open Learning Institute of Hong Kong by the Hong Kong government in 1989, HKMU now consists of five schools, namely the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration, School of Education and Languages, School of Nursing and Health Studies, and the School of Science and Technology.HKMU is the only self-financing university set up by the government. It began as a distance-learning-based university, but is now in effect two universities in one. It has started to offer full-time programmes since 2001 and has participated in Hong Kong's centralised joint university admission system (JUPAS) since 2007. Currently, it has a headcount of more than 9,600 students on its full-time face-to-face programmes, occupying one-sixth of all undergraduate students in Hong Kong. The current president is Professor Lam Kwan Sing. It adopted its current name on 1 September 2021.

Pentecostal School (simplified Chinese: 五旬节中学; traditional Chinese: 五旬節中學; pinyin: Wǔxúnjié Zhōngxué) is an Anglo-Chinese secondary school in Hong Kong at 1973. The schools starting off as a school and then became fully in 1982. The school are a "Love, Faith and Hope" at it.

All Saints' Cathedral (Chinese: 諸聖座堂) is an Anglican (Episcopal) church at 11 Pak Po Street and 2 Yim Po Fong Street (KIL no. 2625), in Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was founded in Yau Ma Tei in 1891 on All Saints' Day. In 2010, the church was consecreated a cathedral. One of the three Anglican cathedrals in the territory and the ecclesiastical province, it is the seat of the bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Western Kowloon, which covers Kowloon and New Kowloon to the west of the Kowloon–Canton Railway, and western half of the New Territories excluding the Islands District and the island of Ma Wan. The other two cathedrals are St. John's Cathedral (Diocese of Hong Kong) and the Holy Trinity Cathedral (Eastern Kowloon).

The Diocesan Boys' School (DBS) is a day and boarding Anglican boys' school in Hong Kong, located at 131 Argyle Street, Mong Kok, Kowloon near Mong Kok East station. Founded in 1869, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious secondary schools in the city. The school's mission is "to provide a liberal education based on Christian principles". Having run as a grant-aided school since it was founded, the school commenced operation in the Direct Subsidy Scheme in September 2003. It uses English as the medium of instruction.
