King George V School (KGV, pronounced "K-G-Five"; (note: V is the Roman numeral) is a co-educational international secondary independent school of the English Schools Foundation (ESF), located in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. The school has 1740 students and is one of the oldest schools in Hong Kong. Students take IGCSEs/GCSEs followed by the International Baccalaureate Diploma or the British BTEC programme. There is a Learning Support Centre (LSC) for students with learning difficulties. The campus has an area of 10.2 acres (4.1 ha). The school is one of three ESF secondary schools in Kowloon and the New Territories, the others being Sha Tin College and Renaissance College.

Wa Ying College (also referred to as WYC, Chinese: 華英中學) is a secondary school in Hong Kong, located at 8 Sheung Wo Street, Homantin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It will move to a temporary campus located at 96 King Fuk Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong starting from September, 2021. The school is managed by the Methodist Church, Hong Kong.

The Y.W.C.A. Hioe Tjo Yoeng College (Chinese: 基督教女青年會丘佐榮中學) is a government-aided, English medium instruction (EMI), grammar school in Ho Man Tin, Hong Kong. Established in 1971, the school is run under the sponsorship of the Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association and was founded with a donation from Mr. Hioe Tjo Yoeng.

Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School (Chinese: 旅港開平商會中學, abbr. HPCCSS) is a Band 1 EMI secondary school located in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon Hong Kong. Hoi Ping is also well known for its school athletic team which ranked third in the Hong Kong Inter-School Athletics Competition.

Kau Pui Lung (Chinese: 靠背壟), formerly Kau Pui Loong or Hau Pui Loong, is a valley and an area between Ma Tau Wai and To Kwa Wan, and west of Ma Tau Chung in Kowloon of Hong Kong. The area now full of schools near the junction of Kau Pui Lung Road and Tin Kwong Road, as well as along Farm Road, where Heep Yunn School is located.

Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College (Traditional Chinese: 陳瑞祺(喇沙)書院); also referred to by its acronym CSKLSC is a private, Catholic, Anglo-Chinese boys' secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was established by the Christian Brothers, a Roman Catholic religious teaching order in 1969.

St. Teresa Secondary School (Chinese: 德蘭中學) is a Roman Catholic girls secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is directly governed by the Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong. The school's patroness is St. Teresa of Lisieux, since the school is located at the same district, Kowloon City District, as St. Teresa's Church in Hong Kong.

Scientia Secondary School (Chinese: 創知中學) is a secondary school in Ho Man Tin, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was formerly called Workers' Children Secondary School (Chinese: 勞工子弟中學) and, before that, Mongkok Workers' Children School (Chinese: 旺角勞工子弟學校).

The Hong Kong College of Technology (HKCT, Chinese: 香港專業進修學校) is a private vocational college in Hong Kong that provides a range of sub-degree programmes. It was founded on 1 August 1957 as the Mong Kok Workers' Night School. A subsidiary established in 2014, HKCT Institute of Higher Education (CTIHE), is legally able to award degrees.

Tang King Po School (Chinese: 鄧鏡波學校) is a secondary school in the Ma Tau Wai area of Kowloon City District, in Hong Kong. The school was founded by the Salesians in 1953 with a donation from businessman Tang King Po in 1952. The school was officially opened at 23 July 1953 by the then-Hong Kong Governor Alexander Grantham.

Kowloon Hospital is a general care hospital located in Kowloon City District, in Kowloon, Hong Kong. The complex was built on land between Argyle Street and Prince Edward Road. The hospital used to be an acute hospital with accident and emergency service. It was later converted to a chronic hospital to provide extended supportive care to patients from Queen Elizabeth Hospital. The hospital has specialist services in psychiatry, rehabilitation, respiratory medicine and geriatrics. The respiratory medicine unit provides teaching opportunities for medical students from the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, University of Hong Kong. With 1,281 beds, the hospital was the first to establish a rehabilitation unit in Hong Kong.

The Hospital Authority is a statutory body managing all the government hospitals and institutes in Hong Kong. It is under the governance of its board and is under the monitor of the Secretary for Food and Health of the Hong Kong Government. Its chairman is Henry Fan.
