Whiteman Park

Whiteman Park railway station is a proposed station on the Morley–Ellenbrook railway line in Perth, Western Australia as part of Metronet, serving Whiteman Park. The station will include a 10 stand bus interchange, providing efficient transport links to nearby Bennett Springs, Dayton, Brabham, and Henley Brook. The station will be located opposite Youle-Dean Road, near the main entrance to the park. Services to Bayswater and Ellenbrook will be provided by Transperth Trains. Whiteman Park station is projected to have 3,795 passengers per day in 2031. The projected journey time to Perth is 25 minutes, and will be a 2 zone fare.

Caversham Airfield, also known as Middle Swan Airfield was an airfield constructed at Caversham, Western Australia during World War II as a parent aerodrome for use by the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm and the United States Navy.The airfield had a triangle of three landing strips.Middle Swan was the parent airfield with the following satellite airfields: Beverley Bindoon Gingin North MooliabeeneeThe United States Army Air Corps also utilised the airfield during World War II. It was also a gliding club location after the war.

Brabham is a suburb located about 21 km (13 mi) north-east of Perth's central business district. The suburb is located in the City of Swan just south of Henley Brook, formerly being a part of that suburb before it was gazetted in May 2011. The suburb was named after Australian motor racing personality Sir Jack Brabham who competed in the 1962 Australian Grand Prix, held at the nearby Caversham Airfield. The suburb is part of the City of Swan's urban growth corridor and is bordered by Park Street to the north, Murray Street to the east, Harrow Street to the south and Drumpellier Drive and Isoondon Street to the west. It is located in the Whiteman Ward of the City of Swan.

Caversham Wildlife Park is a wildlife park currently located in Whiteman Park in Western Australia. It is home to several Australian animals including kangaroos, koalas, possums, wallabies, wombats and Tasmanian devils.It was originally located in the locality of Caversham. The Park was bought by a couple, David and Pat, in 1988 and covered 5 acres of land. It was later doubled in size when the couple bought the adjoining property and increased the number of animals.It shifted into Whiteman Park in 2003.

West Swan is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Swan local government area. It lies west of the Swan River, and east of the former Caversham Motor Racing Circuit. The suburb is traversed by the West Swan Road, one of the main routes in the Swan Valley winery area. At the 2016 Australian census the suburb had a population of 899.

It was gazetted in May 2011, and was named after Walter Warner Day, a pioneer of both the cattle and wine-growing industries in the City of Swan. The suburb is part of the City of Swan's Urban Growth Corridor and is bounded by Lord Street, Harrow Street, Malvern Street, Reid Highway and the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. The suburb is located in the Swan Valley Ward of the City of Swan.

The Bennett Brook Railway is a 2 ft (610 mm) narrow gauge tourist oriented railway operated by the West Australian Light Railway Preservation Association and is located within the boundaries of Whiteman Park, 19 kilometres (12 mi) from Perth.

Shalom House is an unaccredited men-only Christian faith-based drug rehabilitation facility located in the Swan Valley about 23 kilometres north of Perth in Western Australia. Operating since 2012, it claims to be the strictest rehabilitation centre in Australia and utilises an ineffectual tough love model to treat residents. While they have stated they are the most successful rehabilitation centre in Australia, they do not track statistics relating to the success rate of the program and rely on anecdotal evidence to support their claim. Publicly available information indicates the success rate of the program is less than 5 per cent. Drug and alcohol experts have stated that the drug treatment field moved away from tough love treatments over 30 years ago due to the lack of evidence supporting them in favour of more successful, evidence-based practices. Residents are required to attend three church services a week and the founder, Peter Lyndon-James, has stated that he converts all residents to Christianity within two days of entering the program.

Henley Brook Bus Station is a Transperth bus station located on the corner of Henley Street and Starflower Road, in Henley Brook, Perth, Western Australia. It has six stands (five stands in use) served by six regular Transperth routes operated by Swan Transit.

Henley Brook is an outer rural suburb of Perth, Western Australia, part of the Swan Valley wine region. The Ellen brook and Swan River meet in the northeastern corner of the suburb. This is also the farthest upstream Captain Stirling's 1827 exploration reached before deciding on the settlement site of the new colony in 1829. The All Saints Church, the oldest church in Western Australia, is also at this site. The West Australian Reptile Park is a local tourist attraction.

Bennett Springs is a northeastern suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of Swan. Formed from parts of the suburbs of Beechboro, Whiteman and West Swan, Originally a subdivision from Beechboro up until 2011 when it was gazetted in April 2011 after a year-long campaign by residents to rename the suburb Bennett Springs. The suburb was named after Matilda Bennett, the wife of John Septimus Roe.The suburb is part of the City of Swan's Urban Growth Corridor and is bounded by Lord Street to the east, Reid Highway to the south, Tonkin Highway to the west and Marshall Road and the former boundary of West Swan to the north. Bennett Brook, also named after Matilda Bennett, runs through part of the suburb.
