Dutton Park railway station is located on the Beenleigh line in Queensland, Australia. It serves the Brisbane suburb of Dutton Park. The station is one of the oldest on the network.To the west of the station lies the NSW North Coast dual gauge line primarily used by Gold Coast, NSW TrainLink XPT and freight services.On 1 April 2023, the station was temporarily closed for Cross River Rail works and is expected to reopen in late 2024.

The Translational Research Institute (TRI) is Australia's first translational medical research institute dedicated to translating scientific discoveries into applications for medical practice.Located in Woolloongabba, in inner-city Brisbane, Queensland, TRI is supported by a grant from the Australian Government ($140 million); and funding from the Queensland Government ($107 million); Queensland University of Technology ($25 million); and The University of Queensland ($10 million) to combine clinical and translational research to advance progress from laboratory discovery to application in patient care. Buranda is a neighbourhood in the southern Brisbane suburbs of Greenslopes and Woolloongabba in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland, Australia.The location is an important transport hub for southern Brisbane. Logan Road and Ipswich Road pass through the area as does the South East Busway with a station called Buranda busway station. The Pacific Motorway passes through the area. There is also the Buranda railway station on the Cleveland railway line. The Centro Buranda Shopping Centre is located at Buranda. This opened in 1978, originally named Buranda Plaza. The site historically was occupied by Buranda's tram depot followed by Buranda Bus Depot, prior to redevelopment into the shopping mall. A brick heritage-listed Brisbane City Council ventilation shaft, built in 1913, is located in the centre's carpark.

The former Dispenser's House of Diamantina Hospital is now the heritage-listed Diamantina Health Care Museum at Cornwall Street, Woolloongabba, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Thomas Pye of the Queensland Government Architect's Office and built in 1908 by W Chaplain. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 3 July 2007.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a major Australian teaching hospital of the University of Queensland, located in Brisbane, Queensland. It is a tertiary level teaching hospital with all major medical and surgical specialities onsite except for obstetrics, gynaecology, paediatrics, and medical genetics. It has a catchment population of 1.6 million people with 1038 beds and 5,800 full-time equivalent staff. In 2005, the hospital received Magnet Recognition. The hospital is located on Ipswich Road in Woolloongabba, an inner-city suburb of Brisbane.

South Brisbane Cemetery, also known as Dutton Park Cemetery, is a heritage-listed cemetery at 21 Fairfield Road and Annerley Road, Dutton Park, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, adjacent to the Brisbane River. It was built from 1870 to 1990s. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 1 October 2003.The cemetery was established in 1866 and remained in active use until the 1960s, after which its use has been limited by lack of space for new graves.

Gair Park is a heritage-listed park and memorial at 181 Annerley Road, Dutton Park, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1936 onwards. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 5 April 2004.

The Eastern Busway is a bus-only road running from the University of Queensland's St Lucia campus to Langlands Park busway station in Queensland, Australia.

Dutton Park Place busway station is located in Brisbane, Australia serving the suburb of Dutton Park. It is the penultimate westbound stop on the Eastern Busway.Situated on the eastern bank of the Brisbane River at the end of the Eleanor Schonell Bridge, and connects the busway to the University of Queensland via its busway station opposite the river. Passengers can access the station from TJ Doyle Memorial Park Drive, near the South Brisbane Cemetery, while buses can enter and exit the station independently of the Eastern Busway at the Annerley Road-Gladstone Road intersection.

H.M. Prison Brisbane, more commonly known as Boggo Road Gaol, was Queensland's main prison from the 1880s to the 1980s. By the time it closed, it had become notorious for poor conditions and rioting. Located on Annerley Road in Dutton Park, an inner southern suburb of Brisbane, it is the only surviving intact gaol in Queensland that reflects penological principles of the 19th century. After closing in 1992, the larger 1960s section was demolished, leaving the heritage listed section (built as a women's prison in 1905). It was officially known as "Brisbane Gaol" but was commonly known as "Boggo Road" after the original name of the Annerley Road. A new street formed after 1996 now has the name Boggo Road.
