Langer House is a heritage-listed detached house at 396 Swann Road, St Lucia, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by architect Karl Langer as his own home and built in 1950. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.

The St Lucia Presbyterian Church is a heritage-listed church at 7 Hawken Drive, St Lucia, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Built in 1952, it was designed by Ronald Martin Wilson trading as R. Martin Wilson, Architect and Architectural Engineers (Firm Job Number: 856). The church was originally commissioned for the St Lucia congregation of Presbyterians, subsequently becoming the property of the Uniting Church of Australia. This church was the first substantial commission awarded to R. Martin Wilson after World War II. It is listed on the Brisbane Heritage Register.

Ironside State School is a heritage-listed state school at 378 Swann Road, St Lucia, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1935 to 1959. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 27 July 2018.

It was designed by Boulton & Paul Ltd, Department of Public Works (Queensland) and built from 1953 to 1963. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 14 October 2016.

Indooroopilly State High School (ISHS), colloquially known as "Indro", is a state high school situated in the south-western suburb of Indooroopilly in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The school was founded in 1954. It is accredited by the Council of International Schools and offers the International Baccalaureate program. Unlike most schools in Queensland and Australia, students at ISHS do not have to wear a school uniform. However, the school does have a sports uniform which students are required to wear during all interschool sports events.Some of the Indooroopilly State High School Buildings are listed on the Queensland Heritage Register.

St Peters Lutheran College Chapel is a heritage-listed chapel on the campus of St Peters Lutheran College in Indooroopilly, Brisbane, Australia. It was designed by Karl Langer and built in 1968 by W. W. Groom. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 7 December 2012.

St Peters Lutheran College (SPLC) is a Lutheran co-educational private school in Queensland, Australia with teaching campuses in Indooroopilly and Springfield, and an outdoor education centre in Crows Nest. The college provides prep to year 12 education, with domestic day schooling at Springfield, with domestic and international day and boarding at the larger Indooroopilly campus. In year 9, students spend five-weeks completing the Ironbark Outdoor Education Program at the outdoor education centre in Crows Nest. The college was founded in 1945 with the initial purchase of Ross Roy House, later expanding through neighbouring properties and the opening of the Springfield campus in 2008. Both Ross Roy and the chapel have been listed in the Queensland Heritage Register since 2012.In 2017, St Peters had an enrolment of 1986 students with a teaching staff of 183 teachers with 182 non-teaching staff.

The previous district of Counties of Gloucester, Macquarie, and Stanley was split into the districts of Gloucester & Macquarie, Stanley and Stanley Boroughs. The district included North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Kangaroo Point and Ipswich.In 1856 the unicameral Legislative Council was abolished and replaced with an elected Legislative Assembly and an appointed Legislative Council. The district was represented by the Legislative Assembly electorate of Stanley Boroughs.

Stanley County was an electoral district for the Legislative Assembly in the Colony of New South Wales created in 1856 election, named after and including County of Stanley (part of Queensland after 1859), except for the towns of North Brisbane, South Brisbane, Kangaroo Point and Ipswich, which were in Stanley Boroughs. It was abolished in 1859 and replaced with East Moreton and West Moreton.

Jack Speare Park, formerly known as the Indooroopilly Recreation Reserve ('The Rec'), was named for one of the founders of the Taringa Rovers Soccer Football Club (soccer) and Taringa Rovers Cricket Club.The ground is bounded by Fairley Street, Lambert and Carnarvon Roads at Indooroopilly, and features two football fields, junior fields, a turf cricket pitch, dressing rooms and licensed club house. The field was named by former Brisbane Lord Mayor Sallyanne Atkinson in the late 1980s, to honour Mr Speare's contributions to football and the local community.

Vida and Jayne Lahey's House is a heritage-listed detached house at 99 Sir Fred Schonell Drive, St Lucia, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Romeo Lahey and built from 1920 to 1946. It is also known as Wonga Wallen. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.
