The Third Order of the Franciscans Church is a defunct church in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. The church was destroyed during World War II. The site is currently occupied by Mapua University.

Lyceum of the Philippines University (Filipino: Pamantasang Liseo ng Pilipinas), also referred to by its acronym LPU, is a private, non-sectarian, coeducational higher education institution located at Intramuros in the City of Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1952 by José P. Laurel, who was the third president of the Republic of the Philippines. Two of LPU's prominent features are its entrance gate through the "Hall of Heroes", commonly known as "Mabini Hall", which exhibits busts of Philippine historical figures sculpted by the National Artist Guillermo Tolentino, and the "Lyceum Tower", which serves as the school's landmark. Many disciplines are taught in the university, with International relations (diplomacy, international trade), business, communication and International Hospitality (hotel and restaurant management, tourism) consistently being the university's flagship courses. The LPU has affiliate/branch campuses in Makati, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite and Davao.

Mapúa University (Filipino: Pamantasang Mapúa), also known simply as Mapúa or MU, is a private research-oriented non-sectarian university located in Metro Manila, Philippines. The university was founded in 1925 by the first registered Filipino architect, Tomás Mapúa, a graduate of Cornell University in New York. In 2000, the university was acquired by the Yuchengco Group of Companies. The university's main campus is located in the historic district of Intramuros in Manila, while a satellite campus is located in Makati. The university is home to 10 degree-granting colleges and one secondary school department. It has nine programs recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) as Centers of Excellence and Centers of Development. It also has 11 programs accredited by ABET, becoming the first university in Southeast Asia to receive accreditation from the organization. The university also owns and operates the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna, the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Mindanao, and the Malayan High School of Science.

The Manila High School is an educational institution in Manila, Philippines. It was first built along the present site of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila on General Luna Street in Intramuros from July 1963 up to April 1967. The school complex of the first Manila High School at Victoria Annex was formally inaugurated on February 26, 1967.

Mehan Garden is an open space in Manila, Philippines. It was established in 1858 by the Spanish colonial authorities as a botanical garden, called the Jardín Botánico, outside the walled city.

The Colegio de San Juan de Letran, (transl: College of San Juan de Letran) also referred to by its acronym CSJL, is a private Catholic coeducational basic and higher education institution owned and run by the friars of the Order of Preachers in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines. It was founded in 1620. Colegio de San Juan de Letran has the distinction of being the oldest college in the Philippines and the oldest secondary institution in Asia. The school has produced Philippine presidents, revolutionary heroes, poets, legislators, members of the clergy, jurists, and it is also one of the only Philippine schools that has produced several Catholic saints who lived and studied on its campus. The school's patron saint is St. John the Baptist. The campus contains two statues, representing the two foremost alumni in the fields of secular and religious service: former Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon and Vietnamese Saint Vicente Liem de la Paz. Letran has programs in Business, Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Digital Arts, Communication Arts, Accountancy, Engineering. The colleges are divided into six departments: College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA), College of Education (CoEd), Institute of Communication (iCOMM), Institute of Information Technology (iIT), College of Engineering (CoE). The Colegio has successful athletic programs, particularly in basketball, football (soccer), volleyball, taekwondo, and tennis. Through the years Letran has produced numerous athletes that have donned the national colors (especially in basketball) in international events like the Olympics, Asian Games, Southeast Asian Games, Jones Cup, and FIBA World Championship. Letran is a long-time member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The Colegio was given Level III accreditation by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities in the Basic Education department, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS), and College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA).Letran remains in its original campus in Intramuros, Manila, and is a member of the Intramuros Consortium.

The Bonifacio Shrine, also known as the Kartilya ng Katipunan or Heroes Park, is a public park and plaza in Ermita, Manila, Philippines located just north of the Manila City Hall and south of Mehan Garden and Liwasang Bonifacio. Its centerpiece is the monument to Filipino revolutionary Andrés Bonifacio and the Philippine Revolution fronting Padre Burgos Avenue.

Padre Burgos Avenue, also known as Padre Burgos Street, is a 14-lane thoroughfare in Manila, Philippines. The road was named after Jose Burgos, one of the martyred Gomburza priests who were executed at the nearby Bagumbayan Field (present-day Rizal Park) in 1872. It is a road in the center of the city providing access to several important thoroughfares like Taft Avenue, Rizal Avenue, Roxas Boulevard, and Quezon Boulevard. The avenue is a component of Circumferential Road 1 (C-1) of Metro Manila's arterial road network and National Route 150 (N150) and National Route 170 (N170) of the Philippine highway network. The Manila City Hall can be accessed using this road, as can the Rizal Park and Intramuros.

The Liwasang Bonifacio (Bonifacio Square), also known by its former name, Plaza Lawton, is a city square and transport hub in front of the Manila Central Post Office in the Ermita district of Manila, Philippines. It lies at the south end of Jones Bridge, MacArthur Bridge, and Quezon Bridge that link the northern districts of Binondo, Santa Cruz, and Quiapo to the central district of Ermita. The plaza straddles the dividing line between Ermita and Intramuros and is the starting point of Padre Burgos Avenue which connects to Taft Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Rizal Park. Historically known as the Plaza del Fortín, the plaza was given its current name in 1963 after the revolutionary leader Andres Bonifacio who founded the independence movement of Katipunan during the Spanish colonial rule. A monument in his honour now stands in the center of the plaza. The plaza is a popular site of protests and demonstrations organized by several leftist groups, being one of four freedom parks in the City of Manila, where protests and rallies may be held without requiring permission from local authorities.

The Bahay Tsinoy (lit. 'Chinese-Filipino House') is a building in Intramuros, Manila, Philippines which houses the Kaisa-Angelo King Heritage Center, a museum documents the history, lives and contributions of the ethnic Chinese in the Philippine life and history.

Casa Manila is a museum in Intramuros depicting colonial lifestyle during Spanish colonization of the Philippines. The museum is the imposing stone-and-wood structure c. 1850, one of the grand houses in Barrio San Luis (one of the four original villages of Intramuros) is located across historic San Agustin church and bounded by Calle Real, General Luna, Cabildo and Urdaneta streets. The other two are the Los Hidalgos, c. 1650 and Cuyugan Mansion, c. 1890. Casa Manila is a copy of an 1850s San Nicolas House that was once located in Calle Jaboneros. The architect of Casa Manila was J. Ramon L. Faustmann. It was constructed by Imelda Marcos during the 1980s and modeled on Spanish colonial architecture.

The Manila City Hall (Filipino: Bulwagan ng Lungsod ng Maynila) is the official seat of government of the City of Manila, located in the historic center of Ermita, Manila. It is where the Mayor of Manila holds office and the chambers of the Manila City Council is located. It was originally intended to be a part of a national government center envisioned by Daniel Burnham in the 1900s. Although the dream plan was not fully implemented, some buildings for the proposed government center were constructed, including the Old Legislative Building (now the National Museum of Fine Arts), and the Agriculture and Finance Buildings (presently the National Museum of Anthropology and National Museum of Natural History).
