Bardon House

Bardon is a western suburb of the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It is located approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north-west of the Brisbane CBD. Bardon is a leafy residential suburb, much of which nestles into the foothills of Mount Coot-tha. In the 2016 census, Bardon had a population of 9,500 people. It includes the neighbourhood of Rainworth.

Oogarding is a heritage-listed villa at 100 Simpsons Road, Bardon, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by architect Mervyn Rylance and built in 1940 by Jan Cupka. It was extended in 1964 and 1965. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 23 June 2000.

Purtell Park is a rugby league ground in Bardon, a suburb in Brisbane's west, in Queensland, Australia. It is now the home of Wests Juniors Rugby League Football Club (catering for approximately 300 young players), Normandy (Hounds) Rugby League Football Club, Voices of Birralee (catering for approximately 400 young singers), Western Districts Gymnastics, and a venue for Premier Touch Football. A community arts centre which provides meeting rooms for community organisations has been set up in what used to be the football clubhouse. It was the home ground for the Western Suburbs Panthers, who played in the Queensland Rugby League South East Queensland Division's Mixwell Cup and Mixwell Colts Challenge, and who played in the Queensland Cup until the end of 2003. It was once regarded as one of the poorer quality major rugby league venues in Brisbane, with the field actually being on a slope, although this was not noticeable on television. After raising the level of the playing surface through considerable investment over recent years, the venue now offers two quality playing fields. The venue is now used by the West Brisbane Panthers Junior Rugby League Club.

Rainworth is a neighbourhood in the suburb of Bardon, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.Rainworth dates back to Rainworth House and its subdivision when original owner Sir Augustus Charles Gregory died.

Ashgrove State School is a heritage-listed state school at 31 Glory Street, Ashgrove, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Andrew Baxter Leven, James Findlay Leven and Arthur James Edwin Moase. The Depression-era brick school building was built from 1938 to 1959. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 24 April 2018.

Rainworth is a heritage-listed detached house at 7 Barton Street, Bardon, City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was built c. 1862. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. The house gives its name to the former suburb of Rainworth (now a locality within Bardon).

It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 5 February 2016.

Plaza Theatre is a heritage-listed cinema at 163–169 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, Queensland, Australia. It was designed by Richard Gailey, Junior and built from 1929 to c. 1929 by John Hutchinson. It is now known as Empire Revival. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 28 March 2003.
