De Hoop, Culemborg

Culemborg is a railway station in Culemborg, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 November 1868 and is on the Utrecht–Boxtel railway. The station is in the southern end of the town, on the edge of the Pavijen industrial estate and near the sustainable development EVA Lanxmeer.

Johanna, De Korenbloem (English: The Cornflower) or De Molen van Schennink is a tower mill in Culemborg, Gelderland, Netherlands which was built in 1888 and has been restored to working order. The mill is listed as a Rijksmonument.

Culemborg (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkyləmbɔr(ə)x] (listen)) is a municipality and a city in the centre of the Netherlands. The city had a population of 29,386 on 1 January 2022 and is situated just south of the Lek river. Direct train lines run from the railway station towards the cities of Utrecht and Den Bosch.

Lanxmeer is the name of an ecological neighbourhood (240 houses) built from 1994 to 2009 in the town of Culemborg in the Netherlands. It is an environmentally friendly housing development. It was initiated by Marleen Kaptein, who was looking for a more sustainable way of building housing in urban areas. The project was a strong partnership between future inhabitants and the city of Culemborg, consultants and other people. It incorporates many of the principles of high environmental quality and eco-towns, but its principal originality is the promotion of the constant participation of the inhabitants. Indeed, this neighbourhood (except for its masterplan) was designed and conducted with representatives of future residents in a creative process (bottom-up; from bottom to top and not imposed by management or administration), and is often regarded as a model in several areas (for example in Europe by Energie-Cités and in France by the Department of Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development and Sea). It has therefore become an international reference, regularly visited by architects, urbans planners, developers, futurists or groups interested in sustainability, from European countries, and sometimes the United States, Japan, etc..

Pothuizen is a former village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. It was located on the Lek river north of Culemborg, and stretched along the Lek dike on both sides of the Schalkwijkse Wetering.The area was part of the heerlijkheid of Schalkwijk, and later the municipality Schalkwijk, which became part of Houten in 1962. Around 1850, Pothuizen had about 140 inhabitants in 10 houses. The name "Pothuizen" appeared on topographical maps until the end of the 19th century. Although the houses of the former hamlet still exist, the hamlet is no longer recognized. The area is now called "Pothoek"."Pothuizen" can also be spelt "Pothuijsen"

Honswijk is a historic municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It was located to the west of the city of Woudrichem, in the Land van Altena. Between 1812 and 1950 the territory was divided between as many as four municipalities, namely Almkerk, Rijswijk, De Werken en Sleeuwijk and Woudrichem. In the 21st century Honswijk belonged for most of its former area to Woudrichem, with a small section belonging to Werkendam. The territory consists of three polders, namely Ruigenhoek, P. Honswijk and Oudbroek, the latter also being a small hamlet. Honswijk has an estimated population of 35.

Beusichem is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 11 kilometres (7 mi) northwest of Tiel.

De Bosjes is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 11 km northwest of Tiel.De Bosjes is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Beusichem. The hamlet consists of about 10 houses.

De Heuvel is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Buren, and lies about 11 km northwest of Tiel.It was first mentioned in 1844 as De Heuvel, and means hill. It is not a statical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Beusichem. It consists of about 10 houses.

Beesd is a railway station in Beesd. Netherlands. The station opened on 1 December 1883. It lies about 2 km north of Beesd itself. The station is located on the railway line between Dordrecht and Geldermalsen (MerwedeLingelijn). The station has a small island platform, and two tracks, but only one of the tracks is actively used. Train services were operated by Arriva until 8 December 2018, when Qbuzz took over services.
