The International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC) is a memorial and interpretation centre telling the story of RAF Bomber Command overlooking the city of Lincoln, in England. Bomber Command suffered extensive losses of aircraft and crews during the Bombing of Germany during World War II. The centre opened to the public at the end of January 2018. The official opening ceremony was held on 12 April 2018, as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the RAF.

Canwick Road Old Cemetery also known as The Old Cemetery or Canwick Road Cemetery was built in 1856 near the city of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. The cemetery opened in 1856 and with two chapels of ease built by Michael Drury in the Gothic Revival style which was common with most churches in Lincolnshire at the time. It was also Lincoln's first cemetery to be built.

Lincoln TMD was a traction maintenance depot located in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. The depot was situated on the south side of the Lincoln to Grimsby line and was to the east of Lincoln Central station.The depot code is LN.

Central Lincolnshire is the name given to a region of Lincolnshire in the East Midlands, England. The area covers the districts of North Kesteven and West Lindsey as well as the City of Lincoln. The name is used for the planning and development of a part of Lincolnshire surrounding Lincoln, North Hykeham, Sleaford, Market Rasen, Caistor and Gainsborough as well as other outlying villages and hamlets.

The Lincoln rail crash occurred on 3 June 1962, when the 22:15 sleeping car express train from King's Cross to Edinburgh derailed on a sharp curve just a short distance east of Lincoln Central railway station. Two passengers and a sleeping car attendant were killed and seven people were seriously injured. The train had been diverted from its usual route because of engineering work on the East Coast Main Line. A conductor driver had taken the controls of the locomotive, an English Electric Type 4, because the regular driver did not know the diversionary route. The conductor driver was not qualified to drive diesel locomotives, but he had done so occasionally before. It was thought that he was used to driving without a speedometer and so had misjudged his speed on the approach to Lincoln, entering a 15 mph curve at around 55 mph. The driver had also evidently been inattentive because the home signal near the curve was not cleared until the train was almost at it, yet it passed the signal at around 60 mph. Most of the coaches were derailed although the locomotive was not; the latter coming to a stand in the middle of Lincoln Central station.

The Fens and Anglian system is a collection of rivers in East Anglia in England that are navigable and for which the Environment Agency is the navigation authority.Many of the rivers drain The Fens between Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire. These comprise River Glen, Great Ouse, River Nene, and River Welland. The Environment Agency is organising the Fens Waterways Link a major construction project to link these rivers for navigation. The first stage is the South Forty-Foot Drain.Two East Anglian rivers in the grouping are physically separate from the Fens network. These are the River Ancholme in North Lincolnshire which connects to the Humber estuary, and the River Stour which is in Suffolk. The Environment Agency supervises craft registration for these rivers.

The Lincoln Cliff or Lincoln Edge is a portion of a major escarpment that runs north–south through Lindsey and Kesteven in central Lincolnshire and is a prominent landscape feature in a generally flat portion of the county. Towards its northern end, near Scunthorpe, it is sometimes referred to as the Trent Cliff. The name preserves an obsolete sense of the word "cliff", which could historically refer to a hillside as well as a precipitous rock face.

Sincil Bank Stadium, known for sponsorship reasons as LNER Stadium, is a football stadium in Lincoln, England which has been the home of Lincoln City since 1895. Previously, Lincoln City had played at the nearby John O'Gaunts ground since the club's 1884 inception. The stadium has an overall capacity of 10,669. It is overlooked by Lincoln Cathedral. Former Lincoln City chairman John Reames re-purchased the ground from the local council in 2000 at a cost of £175,000. The club had sold it in 1982 for £225,000 in order to fend off the threat of eviction, arranging a 125-year lease. On 28 November 2008, the stadium hosted England U16s' 2–0 win over Scotland U16s to win the Victory Shield, an annual football competition between the four Home Nations at the Under 16 level. Martin Peters paraded the FIFA World Cup Trophy at the ground in March 2010 as part of its global tour.On 10 December 2019, London North Eastern Railway (LNER) was confirmed as Lincoln City's new stadium sponsor. Sincil Bank – the Imps' home since 1895 – was renamed to the LNER Stadium in a 3-year partnership agreement. The stadium has previously been renamed in 2012 and 2013.

Lincoln power stations were a sequence of electricity generating stations that provided electric power to the City of Lincoln and the wider area between 1898 and 1977. The first station was built by Lincoln Corporation in 1898 on Brayford Wharf. During the First World War the engineering company Clayton and Shuttleworth built a power station in Spa Road to meet its own electricity needs. This private station was bought by Lincoln Corporation in 1918 and was expanded to meet rising demand and supplied electricity until it was demolished in 1953. A final power station was built on the Spa Road site over the period 1947–57 and operated until it was decommissioned in 1977.

St. Andrew's Church, Lincoln was a parish church on Canwick Road in Lincoln in the Church of England between 1877 and 1968.

The Old Deanery, Lincoln was the official residence of the Dean of Lincoln. It was a spacious building set around a courtyard. The Deanery is thought to have been started in 1254 by Richard de Gravesend, who became Dean in that year and Bishop of Lincoln four years later. The hall stood on the north side of the court. The great kitchen, the buttery and other offices stood in the same range of buildings. They were extensively damaged during the English Civil War and rebuilt after 1660. The southern entrance tower or Flemyng tower was built by Dr Robert Flemyng and his arms were on both the north and south fronts of the tower. The Deanery was pulled down in 1847 and replaced by the present building by William Burn. This was to become the Cathedral School and later the Minster School. In 2017 plans to convert the building into a visitor and education centre for Lincoln Cathedral were announced.

The Hospital of the Holy Innocents, or the Melandry was a Leper Hospital on South Park common in Lincoln, England. It was founded in the late 11th or early 12th century either by Bishop Remigius or Henry I. It was possibly the first Leper Hospital to be founded in England. In 1422 the confraternity of Burton Lazars was granted the Hospital of the Holy Innocents. At the time of Dissolution of the Monasteries, the Hospital, together with the Burton Lazars hospital were purchased by William Cecil, 1st Baron Burghley
