Big Rockfish Presbyterian Church is an historic Presbyterian church located at Hope Mills, Cumberland County, North Carolina. It was built in 1855, and is a two-story, three bay by four bay, gable-end frame building with double front entrances in the vernacular Greek Revival style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.Worship still continues each Sunday at 11AM with education hour at 10AM. The church hosts many special events throughout the year for different ages and for the community. The church is alongside Highway 301 (I-95 Business) Northbound side, Marracco St is the service road. The church is at the corner with McNeil St. 0.7 miles north of the Highway 59 Overpass.It is part of The Presbyterian Church USA and the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina. Chesnutt entitled "The Marked Tree," where a young man attends this church and becomes very religious while dating a local Rockfish belle he later marries.

It encompasses 61 contributing buildings and 3 contributing sites in the central business district of Hope Mills. Ii includes industrial, commercial, religious, and residential buildings and includes notable examples of Federal and Late Victorian style architecture. Notable buildings include the (former) Hope Mills Manufacturing Company buildings, Rockfish Manufacturing Company, Colin MacRae House (c. 1828), Christ Episcopal Church, Lebanon Masonic Lodge No. 391, and Alice L. Gilbert Store.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Hope Mills Dam, also known as Hope Mills Dam #1, is a concrete gravity dam on Little Rockfish Creek in Hope Mills, North Carolina, USA, which created Hope Mills Lake. Four different dams were built on the site including the current one. The first dam, of rock-crib design, was built in 1839 to power local cotton mills. The second was an embankment dam built in 1924 for powering the mills and later to maintain the lake's water level. Both previous dams failed from flooding. Then in June 2010 a leak was discovered and the lake was drained. The current dam was completed in early 2018 and water to be impounded in January but rainwater filled the dam before water even needed to be impounded.

Hope Mills Lake, also referred to as Hope Mills Lake #1, and by long-time citizens as The Pond, was a lake in Hope Mills in Cumberland County, North Carolina. Before it was a lake, it was a mill pond which was fed by Little Rockfish Creek. The mill pond was created in 1839 near the Hope Mills Dam for the first cotton mill in the area. At the time, the area was called Little Rockfish Village. In 2003, heavy rains caused the earthen dam to fail and the lake was unintentionally drained. By 2006, the lake had not been restored so the Friends of Hope Mills Lake was incorporated as a North Carolina non-profit organization to promote and raise funds for the timely restoration and preservation of the dam. In 2008 the new dam was completed and full for the first time in 5 years. In June 2010, the Lake was intentionally drained for safety reasons, after an inspection discovered a sinkhole that was leaking water under the dam's structure.

Kenneth McKinnon House, also known as the McKinnon-McArthur-Kinlaw-Johnson House, is a historic home located near St. Pauls, Robeson County, North Carolina. It was built about 1840, and is a two-story, timber frame dwelling with Greek Revival style interior design elements. It rests on a brick pier foundation, has a side-gable roof, and exterior end chimneys. At the rear is a one-story end-gable kitchen/dining room addition. The front facade features an overhanging second story, thereby creating a full-width, recessed first-story porch.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

It is owned by the city of Fayetteville and located three nautical miles (6 km) south of its central business district.The airport has two runways and is served by a two-concourse terminal for commercial aviation and one separate terminal for general aviation traffic. The commercial terminal building was designed by Fayetteville architect Mason S. Hicks, a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects. As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 202,597 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 231,002 enplanements in 2009, and 258,986 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a primary commercial service airport (more than 10,000 enplanements per year).
