The Humphrey–Williams House was built about 1846 with the forced labor of enslaved people, and is a two-story, five-bay, vernacular Greek Revival style frame farmhouse. It features a one-story, full-width shed porch. Also on the property are the contributing William Humphrey House (c. 1784), Annie Fairly's House (c. 1935), tobacco barn (c. 1900), a carriage house (c. 1900), a smokehouse, a store-post office (1835-1856), and the agricultural landscape.The main house, on a 9-acre (3.6 ha) property, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, as Humphrey–Williams House. The larger plantation, including 5 contributing buildings and 1 additional contributing site on a 566.6-acre (229.3 ha) property, was re-listed in a boundary increase listing in 1988.

It was built in 1855, and is a two-story, three bay by four bay, gable-end frame building with double front entrances in the vernacular Greek Revival style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.Worship still continues each Sunday at 11AM with education hour at 10AM. The church hosts many special events throughout the year for different ages and for the community. The church is alongside Highway 301 (I-95 Business) Northbound side, Marracco St is the service road. The church is at the corner with McNeil St. 0.7 miles north of the Highway 59 Overpass.It is part of The Presbyterian Church USA and the Presbytery of Coastal Carolina. Gilbert Store.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Hope Mills Dam, also known as Hope Mills Dam #1, is a concrete gravity dam on Little Rockfish Creek in Hope Mills, North Carolina, USA, which created Hope Mills Lake. Four different dams were built on the site including the current one. The first dam, of rock-crib design, was built in 1839 to power local cotton mills. The second was an embankment dam built in 1924 for powering the mills and later to maintain the lake's water level. Both previous dams failed from flooding. Then in June 2010 a leak was discovered and the lake was drained. The current dam was completed in early 2018 and water to be impounded in January but rainwater filled the dam before water even needed to be impounded.
