GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 18.0 out of 20 points.The head chef was Moshik Roth.Restaurant 't Brouwerskolkje was a member of Les Patrons Cuisiniers.The restaurant closed 14 April 2012. Its successor opened in August as "&samhoud places" in Amsterdam which has since been renamed "&moshik" after the chef.

Overveen is a railway station in Overveen, Netherlands. The station opened 3 June 1881. It lies on the Haarlem–Zandvoort railway. The station has two platforms on a central island. It is located along the Tetterodeweg.

Aerdenhout (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌaːrdə(n)ˈɦʌut]) is a village in the municipality of Bloemendaal, Netherlands. Located in the dunes between Haarlem and the beach town of Zandvoort, it ranks as the wealthiest town in the Netherlands. The name "Aerdenhout" means Andere hout, Dutch for "the other wood", and was given it to distinguish this other wood from the Haarlemmerhout, just south of the city Haarlem.

The Erebegraafplaats Bloemendaal, or Dutch Honorary Cemetery Bloemendaal, is a World War II final resting place in Zuid-Kennemerland National Park in Bloemendaal, Netherlands. Located on the top of a dune, it can be reached by a small path from a parking lot located near the provincial route between Overveen center and Zandvoort. None of the graves were originally located here. The cemetery is a final resting place for victims of the Nazi occupation who were executed in various places in the dunes. A total of 422 victims were found in 45 locations and of those, 347 have been laid to rest in 41 groups in Erebegraafplaats Bloemendaal. Nearby, nine locations of former group burials are marked with simple granite stones. The cemetery was first used on 27 November 1945 for the reburial of the Dutch resistance fighter Hannie Schaft, with a procession from the Grote Kerk, Haarlem. In 2010 the cemetery was awarded the Rijksmonument status.

Kareol (1910-1979) was a huge Art Deco/Sezession style building on the Van Lennepweg in Aerdenhout, Netherlands. It was the largest house being built for a private owner in the Netherlands in the 20th century. It was demolished in 1979.

Bentveld is a village in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Zandvoort, and lies about 5 kilometres (3 mi) west of Haarlem. Part of the village is located in the municipality of Bloemendaal, however it can be considered annexed since 1978.The village was first mentioned in 1615 as Bent Velt, and means "field of moor grass (Molinia). Bentveld started to developed after the tram line Zandvoort to Haarlem was constructed in 1899. The tram operated until 1957.

Overveen is a village in North Holland in the Netherlands, in the municipality of Bloemendaal. Overveen lies on the eastern fringe of the North Sea dunes. To the east it borders the built-up areas of Haarlem. A few kilometres to the west of the town lies the Erebegraafplaats Bloemendaal (Honorary Cemetery), where many Second World War victims have been reburied, including resistance fighter Hannie Schaft, sculptor and resistance leader Gerrit van der Veen, banker and resistance member Walraven van Hall, Physician and former Wehrmacht officer Karl Groeger, and sculptor and resistance member Johan Limpers. The town is connected to rail service by the Overveen railway station which opened in 1881 on the Haarlem to Zandvoort railway line.

Heemstede-Aerdenhout (Dutch pronunciation: [ˌɦeːmsteːdə ˌʔaːrdə(n)ˈɦʌut]) is a railway station in Heemstede and Aerdenhout, Netherlands. The station opened on 1 October 1891 and is located on the site of the old Toll house for the Leidsevaart canal, which still flows next to the station from Haarlem to Leiden. This canal still follows the Oude Lijn (Amsterdam - Rotterdam) closely. The train soon became the favored method of travel after the station opened, and the canal has gone out of use since the end of the second world war. The current station building was opened in 1958 and was one of the first Dutch viaduct stations.

The NZH Public Transport Museum (Dutch: NZH Vervoer Museum) is a museum in Haarlem, Netherlands, dedicated to promoting interest and conserving the bus and tram cultural heritage of Kennemerland. It is located behind the former bus depot of the "Noord-Zuid-Hollandsche Stoomtramweg-Maatschappij" (NZH), a bus and tram company.
