Abraham Anthony Farm

Keever–Cansler Farm, also known as the Daniel Keever Farm, is a historic farm and national historic district located near Blackburn, Catawba County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 5 contributing buildings. The main house was built in 1879, and is a two-story, brick, I-house dwelling. Also on the property are the contributing granary, frame barn (c. 1920), log barn, and smokehouse / wood shed.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Grace Union Church and Cemetery is a historic church and national historic district located near Newton, Catawba County, North Carolina. It was built in 1857, and is a one-story, brick, Greek Revival-style church. Also on the property is the Grace Union Cemetery, with gravestones dated as early as 1822.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

North Carolina's 10th congressional district is a congressional district in central and western North Carolina. It currently includes all of Catawba, Iredell, Lincoln, and Yadkin counties, and most of Forsyth County including much of the city of Winston-Salem. The district has a Cook Partisan Voting Index rating of R+9. Republicans have won the district continuously since 1969, and the last Democrat to win this district was Basil Whitener who represented it from 1963 to 1969. Republican Pat Harrigan has represented the district since 2025. The 10th district was part of the controversial statewide redistricting by the Republican-led state legislature in 2011. The district's northwest border was redrawn to include most of heavily Democratic Asheville, long the heart of the 11th district. At the same time, some heavily Republican areas in the 10th were shifted to the 11th. While this made the 10th approximately seven points more Democratic, it was not nearly enough to overcome the heavy Republican tilt in the western Charlotte suburbs. On February 23, 2022, the North Carolina Supreme Court had approved a new map to only be used for the 2024 United States House of Representatives elections which changed the 10th district boundaries to include Alexander, Burke, northwest Gaston County, eastern Rutherford County and a small section of southeastern Caldwell County. On October 25, 2023 the North Carolina General Assembly passed a new congressional map for the 2024 United States House of Representatives elections to include Yadkin county, and most of Forsyth County including much of Winston-Salem, shifting the normally heavily Republican district's Cook Partisan Voting Index from R+22 to R+9. The district has historically been the most Republican district in the state and normally the most exurban in character.

Shuford–Hoover House is a historic home located near Blackburn, Catawba County, North Carolina. The original section was built about 1790, and is a one-story, weatherboarded log structure. The front section was added about 1840, and is a one-story frame cottage in a transitional Federal / Greek Revival style. The two sections are linked together by a center porch-like room added about 1925.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Maiden is a town in Catawba and Lincoln counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Salem Union Church and Cemetery, also known as Salem Lutheran Church and Salem United Church of Christ, is a historic United Church of Christ church and cemetery located near Maiden, Lincoln County, North Carolina. The church was built in 1849 as a simple rectangular brick building, and enlarged and remodeled in the Late Gothic Revival style in 1914–1915. With the remodeling, a two-stage corner tower was added and the window and door openings converted to lancet-arch openings. A two-story Sunday School addition was built in 1936-1937 and in 1989 a Fellowship Hall was built to form an H-shaped church building. Also on the property is a contributing well shed (c. 1928) and cemetery with burials dating to 1792.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Wesley's Chapel Arbor was built about 1890, and is a large open Rustic Methodist camp meeting structure, nearly square, with a broad hipped roof. Wesley's Chapel Cemetery was established about 1850.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

It was built about 1820, and is a two-story, frame Federal style farmhouse. It features a full-width shed-roofed porch. A one-story frame ell was added in 1941.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

According to the Geographic Names Information System, it has also been known historically as Jacobs Creek. Jacob Fork rises near the top of Grassy Ridge in Burke County, North Carolina, on the He Creek divide, then flows east into Catawba County to form South Fork Catawba River with Henry Fork about 3 miles southwest of Startown. It drains 96.24 sq mi (249.3 km2) of area, receives about 51.2 in/year of precipitation, has a topographic wetness index of 325.14, and is about 64% forested.

Andrew Seagle Farm is a historic home and farm located near Reepsville, Lincoln County, North Carolina. The farmhouse was built in two sections, each two stories, three-bays wide, with the oldest dating to 1860. It has a full-width shed roofed front porch. Also located on the property are the contributing log barn, smokehouse, and storage buildings and a dome shaped stuccoed brick "bake oven."It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
