Ochota

Och-Teatr is a privately owned performing arts theater located in Ochota, Warsaw. It was founded in 2010 by Krystyna Janda's Foundation for Culture. It has a total of 554 seats, 100 of which are unnumbered in the smaller Och-Cafe Theater section.

The Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Polish: Kościół Niepokalanego Poczęcia Najświętszej Maryi Panny w Warszawie) is a church on Grójecka Street in the Ochota district of Warsaw, the capital city of Poland. Designed by architect Oskar Sosnowski, construction started in 1911 but was interrupted in 1914. Before construction resumed in 1927 the church hosted the parish of St James the Apostle. The church sustained some damage during the siege of Warsaw in 1939, mainly to the Chapel of the Virgin Mary. Much heavier damage occurred during the Warsaw Uprising of 1944 and most of the building's contents were destroyed, including the roof and the stained glass windows designed by H Bardzińska. Reconstruction work began in 1946 and was largely complete by the end of the 1950s.

Plac Narutowicza (Polish pronunciation: [ˈplats narutɔvitʂa]; English: Narutowicz Square) is a city square located in the Ochota district in Warsaw, Poland. The site is named after Gabriel Narutowicz, the first president of the Second Polish Republic. His monument was inaugurated here in 2002.

Kolonia Lubeckiego (Polish pronunciation: [ˈkoloɲa lubetʂˈkʲɛɡɔ]; English: Lubecki Colony) is a historical housing estate in the Ochota district of Warsaw, Poland, bordered by the streets Fitrowa, Krzywickiego, Wawelska, Grójecka and Plac Narutowicza. The area is characterized by houses built during the interwar period, with many trees and green spaces.

The Warsaw Icon Museum (Polish: Muzeum Ikon w Warszawie) is the first museum in Warsaw and the third in Poland dedicated to icons. Located in the Ochota district of Warsaw, Poland, the museum is housed in a former boilerhouse.

Free Polish University (Polish: Wolna Wszechnica Polska), founded in 1918 in Warsaw, was a private high school with different departments: mathematics and natural sciences, humanities, political sciences and social pedagogy. From 1929, its degrees were equivalent to those of university. In the years 1919–1939 the institution employed 70–80 professors. In the academic year 1938/39 educated about 3000 students. The university conducted clandestine courses during the German occupation, but after the war, its activities were not resumed.The university was disbanded in 1952.

The Aviator Monument (Polish: Pomnik Lotnika) is a monument in Warsaw designed by Edward Wittig in honor of Franciszek Żwirko and Stanisław Wigura, two aviation heroes of Poland. It is a reconstruction of the original monument that was unveiled in 1932 in Union of Lublin Square and destroyed in 1944. The current monument was constructed in 1967.

The Jan and Halina Machulski Ochota Theater (Polish: Teatr Ochoty im. Jana i Haliny Machulskich) is a performing arts theater in Kolonia Lubeckiego, Ochota, Warsaw. The auditorium has a seating capacity of less than 100.

Narodowe Archiwum Cyfrowe (NAC; English: National Digital Archives) is the national archive of Poland, formed 8 March 2008 from the merger of the Archives of Audio-Visual Records and the State Archives of Poland. It acts as the national archive for Poland and holds the central archives of the Poland government. They are the state official archives and aim to provide digital files as a response to the development of recording, storing and access technologies The vision of the NDA is to: archive digital materials, including digital documents archive photographs, films and sound recordings create digital files of hard copy materials share digital information and make the collection accessible online

The National School of Public Administration (Polish: Krajowa Szkoła Administracji Publicznej, abbreviated as KSAP) was established in 1990 by the Tadeusz Mazowiecki government. An inspiration for its founders was the French École nationale d’administration. The aim of the school is to train civil servants for the public administration of the Republic of Poland. The school is located in Warsaw. Training at the school lasts from 18 to 20 months. The programme is focused on the following learning paths: law and administration; economics and public finance; the European Union and foreign policy; management and soft skills development. Students do two internships in Poland and one abroad (usually in the European Union country).

The Ministry of Climate and Environment (Polish: Ministerstwo Klimatu i Środowiska) is a ministry in the Polish government, established on 6 October 2020. It is headed by Anna Moskwa, who has held the position of Minister of Climate and Environment since 26 October 2021. The ministry is also responsible for energy, forestry, and water management.The ministry was created by merging the water management department of the Ministry of Marine Economy and Inland Navigation and the environment department of the Ministry of Environment into the former Ministry of Climate.

The Stacja Muzeum is located at the former Warsaw Główna PKP railway terminus and is very close to the Warszawa Ochota railway station. The museum's exhibits are divided into permanent and temporary collections — the latter being displayed inside the museum's galleries. The permanent collection consists of historic rolling stock that is displayed on the tracks outside, including one of the few remaining armoured railway trains in Europe. The museum also contains a library which houses many books on the subject of Polish railways. During the interwar period the museum's headquarters were located at Nowy Zjazd Street. The museum was reestablished at the present site, as Railway Museum in Warsaw (Muzeum Kolejnictwa w Warszawie), in 1972. On 30 July 2009, PKP S.A. the Polish state railway company served notice to quit on the Museum authorities requiring them to vacate their current location by 31 August 2009. However, as of May 2015, the museum remained in place and open to the public, offering low-cost entry and is perfect for large groups such as stag does. The museum was disestablished on 31 March 2016 and on 1 April a new institution, Stacja Muzeum, opened, taking over the exhibits and other assets.There were plans to move Stacja Muzeum to a new, purpose-built object at the Odolany railway depot but the idea was eventually dropped. Another plan was to build new premises for some of the exhibits at the current site as part of the redevelopment but this idea also came to nothing and, as of August 2021, Stacja Muzeum is still open at the old site.
