Meek House

Spears House, also known as Caldwell Creek Farm and Eudy Farm, is a historic home and national historic district located near Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The farmhouse was constructed in stages and, prior to 1825, reached the form of a dogtrot. The original pen was probably built sometime between about 1760 and 1795 and the second pen was probably built between 1796 and 1800. The house was restored from 1982 to 1987.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Robert Harvey Morrison Farm and Pioneer Mills Gold Mine, also known as Cedarvale, is a historic home and farm and national historic district located near Midland, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The district encompasses five contributing buildings and three contributing sites. The house was built about 1846, and is a two-story, three bay Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It features a full width one-story, hip roof porch. Also on the property are the contributing smokehouse (c. 1846), log barn (c. 1846), shed (c. 1900), shop (c. 1900), and the remains of the Pioneer Mills Gold Mine including the mine shaft site (c. 1832), ore mill site (c. 1832), and miner's cabin site (c. 1855).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Rocky River Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located near Rocky River, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The property includes the Greco-Italianate style brick church (1860-1861); a frame Session House (1839); a small cemetery dating to 1814; and the two-story, brick Greek Revival and Italianate style Manse (1873).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Rocky River High School is a high school in Mint Hill, North Carolina; a suburb of Charlotte. Inaugural classes began in the fall of 2010. Its original principal was Mark Nixon, the former principal of East Mecklenburg High School, who was replaced in 2012 by Brandy Nelson. In 2016, Ericia Turner became the new principal.

It was built about 1878 and is an open rectangular structure topped by a metal-clad hipped roof with flared eaves. It measures 74 feet by 57 feet.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

Coddle Creek is a stream/river that rises near Mooresville in Iredell County, North Carolina. It flows through most of northwestern Cabarrus County, North Carolina, where it empties into Rocky River near Harrisburg, North Carolina.

Harrisburg station is a planned infill train station in Harrisburg, North Carolina, located on the North Carolina Railroad (NCRR). When it is completed, Amtrak's Carolinian and Piedmont will serve the station. The station building will also have office space for the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department. It will be the nearest Amtrak station to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Its primary country competitor is iHeartMedia's WKKT. WSOC-FM's studios are located on South Boulevard in Charlotte's South End and the transmitter is located in East Charlotte near Reedy Creek Park. WSOC shares its call sign with previously co-owned WSOC-TV, Charlotte's ABC network affiliate.

WKQC (104.7 FM) is a commercial radio station in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is owned by the Beasley Broadcast Group and airs a gold-based, 1980s-centric adult contemporary radio format. For most of November and December, it switches to all-Christmas music. WKQC's studios are located on South Boulevard in Charlotte. WKQC has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for most FM stations in the U.S. The transmitter site is in East Charlotte, off Hood Road. It broadcasts in the HD Radio format. The HD2 digital subchannel carries sports radio programming from the Fox Sports Radio Network. The station receives co-channel interference from WNOK in Columbia, South Carolina, just 75 miles south of Charlotte. The Chester and Lancaster, South Carolina areas are affected the most with interference from both stations. Both WKQC and WNOK use directional antennas. Despite this, the stations' overlap causes listener problems in areas of Northern South Carolina, and closer to Charlotte on some summer days when tropospheric interference is strong.
