Norwood Park Historic District (Asheville, North Carolina)

Congregation Beth Israel (Hebrew: בית ישראל) is an independent, traditional egalitarian Jewish congregation, located at 229 Murdock Avenue in Asheville, North Carolina. Founded in 1899 as Bikur Cholim, it was an Orthodox breakaway from Asheville's existing synagogue. It hired its first full-time rabbi in 1909, opened a religious school in 1911, and acquired its first building, which burnt down in 1916, in 1913. The congregation completed its second building in 1924, affiliated with Conservative Judaism in 1949, and changed its name to Beth Israel in 1950. It completed construction of its current building in 1969, and renovated it in 2018. Robert Cabelli joined as rabbi in 2006, and was succeeded by Justin Goldstein in 2014. In 2021, the congregation hired Mitch Levine as rabbi.

The William Jennings Bryan House is a historic home located at 107 Evelyn Pl. in Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. It was designed by architects Smith & Carrier and built in 1917. It is a two-story, five-bay, side-gable roofed dwelling in the Colonial Revival style. This was the home of William Jennings Bryan from 1917 until he sold the house in 1920.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Fire Station Number 4 in Asheville, North Carolina, also known as Merrimon Avenue Fire Station, is a historic fire station. It was built in 1927, and is a two-story, flat roofed, multi-colored brick building in the Art Deco style. It features a five-story tower with an open-shaft staircase.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

It includes the former Asheville Country Club, now the Grove Park Inn Country Club.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989, with a boundary increase in 1990.

It was built in 1909, and is a three-story, square frame dwelling in the Colonial Revival / Neoclassical style. It features a flat roofed portico with pairs of fluted Corinthian order columns and half-round pilasters. Manor and Cottages is a historic resort complex and national historic district located at Asheville, Buncombe County, North Carolina. The complex encompassed 36 contributing buildings that were built starting in 1898. The main hotel, The Manor, was built starting in 1898–1899, and consists of a rambling group of interconnected wings with elements of the Colonial Revival, Shingle Style, and Tudor Revival styles. Wings were added to the original building in 1903 and 1913–1914. Located on the property are the contributing Club House (c. 1903) and a 19 guest cottages built between 1899 and 1920. The hotel was later converted for use as a retirement hotel for elderly persons with limited incomes.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
