Carneros Creek (Spanish: Arroyo de los Carneros) is a south by southeastward flowing stream originating in the southernmost Mayacamas Mountains, in Napa County, California. It is the southernmost tributary to the Napa River, entering 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of San Pablo Bay and 5 miles (8.0 km) south of the town of Napa.

Bull Island is an island in the Napa River, in Napa County, California. From the 1880s onward, it was owned by the Money family, who constructed levees and reclaimed the land, using it to farm grain and potatoes. It was described as a "fine ranch" in 1918. After a levee failure in 1954, it gradually eroded into the water, becoming a salt marsh; for some time afterward, it was used as an evaporation pond for the industrial production of salt by the Leslie Salt Company. Beginning in the 1970s, Bull Island was proposed for inclusion in a variety of riparian preservation projects, but none came to fruition. However, in 1997, the Money family (who still owned the island) sold it to the California State Lands Commission, who turned it into a wildlife habitat; today it is administered as part of the Fagan Marsh Ecological Reserve, and hosts animals of numerous endangered species.

Cuttings Wharf is an unincorporated community in Napa County, California. It lies at an elevation of 7 feet (2 m). Cuttings Wharf is located on the Napa River, 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Napa Junction.In 1893 Francis Cutting developed a wharf at this location so that ships could pick up fruit grown in Napa at the Cutting Fruit Packing Company. In 1924, Napa County purchased the site as a public boat landingA fishing resort adjacent to the wharf was built by Ernest Lundy. Mae Norman operated the resort from 1928 until 1961. Most of the buildings of the resort were razed, though Charles Moore moved some of them to his resort also located adjacent to the wharf property.Some of the World War II effort-era plywood houses from Shipyard Acres were moved a few miles west to the Cuttings Wharf area, resurrected, and as of 2009 were still in place near the marina.In the 1950s, twenty four surplus military buildings were floated from Richmond up the Napa River and installed near Moore's landing. In 1969, a picket at the Napa County courthouse led to county supervisors touring housing at Cuttings Wharf investigating reports of substandard housing. In the early 2000s, the buildings were found to be in violation of health and safety codes. The renters were evicted in early 2011. The buildings were eventually demolished.Cuttings Wharf is the final resting place of the SS Cabrillo, a wooden steamship used to transport passengers between Los Angeles and the Channel Islands.The boat launch facility at Cuttings Wharf was rebuilt in the late 1970s.

Ceja Vineyards is a family-owned winery in Napa founded by Mexican-American immigrants. The Ceja family have been growers in the Napa and Sonoma valleys in California for three generations. The wine production company was founded in 1999 and focuses on premium wines. The principals are; Amelia Moran Ceja, President; Martha Ceja, Vice President; Pedro Ceja, Secretary; and Armando Ceja, Treasurer. As of 2008 production is around 10,000 cases per year.

Edgerly Island is an island in the Napa River, upstream of San Pablo Bay (an embayment of San Francisco Bay). It is in Napa County, California, and managed as part of the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area. Its coordinates are 38°12′12″N 122°18′52″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 3 ft (0.91 m) in 1981.

Green Island is an island in the Napa River, upstream of San Pablo Bay (an embayment of San Francisco Bay). It is in Napa County, California, and managed as part of the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area. Its coordinates are 38°12′09″N 122°18′16″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 23 ft (7.0 m) in 1981. It, long with Island No. 1, Island No. 2 and Tubbs Island, are labeled on a 1902 USGS map of the area.

Buchli is an unincorporated community in Napa County, California. It lies at an elevation of 16 feet (5 m) between Los Carneros AVA and the Napa-Sonoma Marsh. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, a railway station in the community was used to ship produce grown in Napa and Sonoma counties along the Southern Pacific Railroad to San Francisco. In 1946, Press Wireless, Inc. constructed a radio station in Buchli which received and processed most news reports from East Asia. The station was the first in the Western United States to receive signals from Sputnik 1. Leslie Salt purchased land to the south in the 1950s, which it developed into salt evaporation ponds. Starting in the 1970s, the California Department of Fish and Wildlife purchased much of the land around Buchli to set aside as a wildlife area.

Napa County Airport (IATA: APC, ICAO: KAPC, FAA LID: APC) (Napa Valley Airport) is a public airport five miles (8 km) south of Napa, in Napa County, California, United States. It has three runways. During 2008 the airport's 1960-era control tower received extensive radio, plumbing and electrical upgrades and renovations funded by the federal government. Airport officials said the airport had about 122,000 flights take off or land at the facility annually in 2008.

Coon Island is an island in the Napa River, upstream of San Pablo Bay (an embayment of San Francisco Bay). It is in Napa County, California, and managed as part of the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area. Its coordinates are 38°11′33″N 122°19′24″W, and the United States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 3 ft (0.91 m) in 1981.

Rancho Entre Napa was a 7,000-acre (28 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Napa County, California given in 1836 by Governor Mariano Chico to Nicholas Higuera. The grant extended along the west bank of the Napa River from present-day Napa south to Carneros Creek.

Acacia Winery, also known as Acacia Vineyard or simply Acacia, is a winery in the Carneros Valley appellation in Napa County, California, United States. Acacia Winery was founded in 1979 by co-founder Michael Richmond and others on Las Amigas Road. The winery primarily produced pinot noir and Chardonnay wines including the following lines: Reserve, SVS Wines, Carneros Blend, A, From Acacia (fruit from the central coast), and Estate Pinot (2001-2002). Paul Perret became the sole general partner of Lakeside Winery, the owner of Acacia, and sold the winery to Chalone in July, 1986.

Russ Island is a mostly-submerged island in the Napa River, in Napa and Solano Counties, California. It was reclaimed in the late 19th century, and spent many years as productive farmland; in the 1950s, however, it was purchased by the Leslie Salt Company, and deliberately submerged to serve as an evaporation pond for salt production. The company allowed parts of it to be used for duck hunting. By the 1990s, it was acquired by the California Department of Fish and Game, who turned it into a wildlife preserve, and allowed it to return to marshland; it is now managed as part of the Napa-Sonoma Marshes Wildlife Area, and is open to hunting, fishing, birdwatching, photography and hiking activities.
