New Hope Presbyterian Church

Winnabow is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Brunswick County in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is mainly a farming community along U.S. Route 17. There is no large retail presence in the area, except a Han Dee Hugo's convenience store at the intersection of NC 87 and US 17 South. Mill Creek Farm and Garden Center is the feed store for the area and is located beside Willetts Farm. Winnabow has a post office. In 2022, residents of the community petitioned for the area to be incorporated, but the proposal was rejected by the North Carolina Local Government Commission.

WLTT (1180 kHz) was an Urban AC AM radio station licensed to Carolina Beach, North Carolina. The station served the Wilmington, North Carolina radio market. The station was last owned by CLI Radio, LLC.During all of its lifespan, because AM 1180 is a clear-channel frequency reserved for Class A WHAM in Rochester, New York, WLTT was required to sign-off between sunset and sunrise each day to avoid interference. Its transmitter was located off Governors Road Southeast in Winnabow, North Carolina.

Licensed to Wilmington, North Carolina, United States, the station serves the Wilmington, Jacksonville and North Myrtle Beach areas. The station is owned by Carolina Christian Radio, Inc, a 501c3 organization. Carolina Christian Radio is funded by the generous donations of individual listeners.

North Brunswick High School is a public school located in Leland, North Carolina It is one of five high schools in the Brunswick County Schools district. As of the 2016–17 school year, North Brunswick has 1300 students currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12.

The town of Leland is in the northeastern part of Brunswick County, with the town of Navassa to the north, Belville to east, and Boiling Springs Lake to the south. It is part of the Town Creek township, and Cape Fear region of North Carolina, a short distance north of the South Carolina state line. Leland is located five miles (8.0 km) west of Wilmington, 71 miles (114 km) north of Myrtle Beach, 84 miles (135 km) southeast of Fayetteville, and 135 miles (217 km) southeast of Raleigh.

Sandy Creek is a town in Brunswick County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 260 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Wilmington, NC Metropolitan Statistical Area.

South Brunswick High School is a high school within the Brunswick County School District in Southport, North Carolina. The current principal is Michael "Chip" Hodges. The school is currently the smallest of the three traditional high schools in Brunswick County Schools. The Cougars compete in the NCHSAA MEC 3A/4A conference and are the smallest school in the conference. After Hurricane Florence the schools enrollment dipped to below 1,000 students for the first time since the early 2000s. The storm caused students to miss schools for around a month and caused much damage to both the school and the community. The school has just recently recovered from COVID-19 pandemic and, as of the 2022-2023 school year, removed the majority of COVID-19 restrictions.

Belville is a town in Brunswick County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 1,936 at the 2010 census, up from 285 in 2000. It is part of the Wilmington, NC metropolitan area.

The Brunswick River in North Carolina runs for 6.2 miles along the west bank of Eagle Island near the city of Leland. The Brunswick River is a fork of the Cape Fear River; the river starts as an offshoot of the Cape Fear River at the town of Navassa and flows back into the Cape Fear River at the southern tip of Eagle Island. Mill Creek and Alligator Creek flow into the Brunswick River.
