St Ceinwen's Church, Llangeinwen

Llangeinwen is a village on the island of Anglesey in the community of Rhosyr. It is the location of St Ceinwen's Church, Llangeinwen.Welsh educator and founder of Aberystwyth University, Hugh Owen was born in the village.

Aethwy was a rural district in the administrative county of Anglesey, Wales, from 1894 to 1974. It was created under the Local Government Act 1894 from the part of the Bangor rural sanitary district which was on Anglesey. In 1933 it was expanded by a county review order, taking in all of the abolished Dwyran Rural District. The district was abolished under the Local Government Act 1972, becoming part of a single Ynys Môn - Isle of Anglesey district.

St Mary's Church, Llanfair-yn-y-Cwmwd is a small medieval parish church near the village of Dwyran, in Anglesey, north Wales. The building probably dates from the 15th century, with some alterations. It contains a 12th-century carved stone font and a 13th-century decorated coffin lid. The bell is inscribed with the year of its casting, 1582. The historian Henry Rowlands was vicar of St Mary's in the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Maurice Wilks, who invented the Land Rover, is buried in the churchyard. Although at one time during the 19th century St Mary's was too dilapidated to permit services to be held, repairs were carried out in the 19th century. The church is used for worship by the Church in Wales, one of five in a combined parish. Services are held once per month between April and September. St Mary's is a Grade II* listed building, a national designation given to "particularly important buildings of more than special interest", in particular because it is regarded as "a good example of a simple, substantially unaltered, late Medieval church". It is also said to be "an important survival" because many of the older churches in Anglesey were extensively rebuilt or repaired during the 19th century, and the alterations at St Mary's were less extensive.

Afon Braint (English: River Braint) is a small tidal river on Anglesey, North Wales. There is a series of stepping stones near the village of Dwyran, and a Grade II bridge near Penmynydd. Until recently, there was an electoral ward named after the river.

The A4080 is a British A road which is located on the Island of Anglesey, Wales. It follows a very roundabout route from the A5 road at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll via Newborough and Rhosneigr back to the A55 and the A5 about 9 miles (14 km) south of Holyhead. Newborough Warren (Welsh: Tywyn Niwbwrch) near the village of Newborough (Niwbwrch) is a large dune and beach system of 2,269 hectares (5,607 acres; 23 km2), approximately half of which is a conifer plantation. The whole area is designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest and all of the site except the forestry is a national nature reserve.The site is bounded on two sides by rivers: to the south-east by the Afon Braint and to the north-west by the Afon Cefni. It includes Llanddwyn Bay and Malltraeth Bay, divided by Ynys Llanddwyn, and part of the Anglesey Coastal Path.
